    Hopelessness of Hope

The hopelessness of hope, knowing carries only the burden of when, why and how, if needed.

Hope carries the burden of an expectation unfufulled.

My mom loved to say, "There's always hope". She needed hope. She was plagued with fears and insecurity.

Here's a song about luck and hope.

Is hope actually part of one of our survival mechanisms.

Hope was the last mischief in Pandora's box. Intent has stronger legs than hope and has a connection with Wisdom.

Yes, exploring the difference between helplessness and hopelessness, one being crushed as such and the other being actual anxiety, helplessness may actually contain a door to within where hopelessness only has a door without.

I was surprised to see a painting called 'Hope" which was of a darkened room with bars at the window, no light entering into the room and none passing out.

    Lightbulb

I remember my first great love was a young girl name Hope ...
She toyed with my heart for many years ...

One date/night she overtly gave herself over to me ...
All those frustrating prior times came to a head ...

Ah, but that was the rub ...
My junk refused to work !

Coincidentally, a few months later while walking out of my apartment building ...
Hope again luckily passed me by, she was now quite pregnant ...
Surprisingly walking into the building with my next door neighbor.

That's when i finally decided in letting hopelessness go its way and become a realist.

I have a friend who says he always expects the worst and then he's never disappointed. He misses some good stuff because he's just expecting the worst. If he had a little hope, or at least an open mind, he might have been able to take advantage of some opportunities. Alas... he missed out.

Exploring the attachment within hope, creating energy connection with the future, if everyone hoped for the same thing in the future, does that create a knowing energy

I believe it does. It's like focusing sunlight with a lens, to the point where you concentrate so much energy into a single point that you can start a fire with it.

Consciousness creates, and therefore, if everyone's hope — i.e. desire — were in unison, then this could significantly alter our shared reality, in my opinion, and not just at the physical level.

    What a beautiful analogy!

Desire and hope have differing roots, yes.

That depends. It's a matter of semantics. What you hope for is by definition something you desire — i.e. long for — or else you wouldn't be hoping for it.

I find that people who are desire-driven are often more active than people who live in hope.
They go after that which they desire.

Living in hope often implies waiting, waiting for an external event to change their situation.
There is no passionate striving involved.
