Of course, the other big story, one that has a global impact, is what is happening in Syria. It is global because two of the most powerful countries are having a war of words while engaging in a proxy war. Ever since the USA bombed the Syrian army at a base it has been stationed at, with the same coordinates, for two years, the mask has come off regarding the intentions of the Anglo-American empire, with its EU vassals.

The rhetoric is heating up and State Dept asshole John Kirby has issued 'dog whistle-like' calls to the terrorists by bringing up phrases like 'body bags', Russian cities coming under terrorist attack. It appears that the sovereign armed forces of Syria getting control of Aleppo is seen as Aleppo "falling" by the Western powers and the scum they support. The world is upside down and very dark in the US State Dept.

    Here are the sulfurous utterings.
Kirby said that if the war in Syria continues, “more Russian lives will be lost, more Russian aircraft will be shot down” as “extremist groups will continue to exploit the vacuums that are there in Syria to expand their operations, which could include attacks against Russian interests, perhaps even Russian cities.”
State Dept asshole John Kirby (ISIS Spokesman)

Russia has denounced US projection of possible attacks on Russian cities by terrorists fighting in Syria, saying the statement amounts to an invitation to terrorism.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov was outraged on Thursday after US State Department spokesman John Kirby said terrorists in Syria could launch attacks “against Russian interests, perhaps even Russian cities.”

“We cannot interpret this as anything else apart from the current US administration’s de facto support for terrorism,” Ryabkov was quoted as saying.

“These thinly disguised invitations to use terrorism as a weapon against Russia show the political depths the current US administration has stooped to in its approach to the Middle East and specifically to Syria.”

On a brighter note: Russian humanitarian aid handed out to children in Homs

Lest someone think I am slanting the news, there is no USA humanitarian aid being given out. Just more weapons to the head-choppers. That is the real situation. Hard to find any good PR for the USA. Without lying. Let us also not forget the USA is not alone but, just the bigger half of the Anglo-American empire. Yes, the UK is just as scummy. The EU vassals are beneath contempt and don't even deserve the dignity of being acknowledged.

    Back to the brighter side.

In the village of Jamilia in Homs province, representatives of the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of Warring Sides carried out a humanitarian aid action.

The “Aid to Syria from Russia” humanitarian column continues to provide those in need with needed food packets.

Local residents met the convoy of Russian aid with enthusiasm. The event was even attended by Syrian television representatives.
Over the course of the day, food kits were provided to 400 people.

In addition to humanitarian aid, the residents of Jamilia received expert medical consulations and aid. A large queue of civilians formed near the reception where the medical center was set up.

Don't buy the hype from the lame stream media. Often anything that is said on the Tell-a-lie vision is the complete opposite of what is true.

Ah, fall is coming. The time when three year old children learn the utility of clothing. Summertime is a regular nudist colony amongst those under 3 feet tall.

That's hilarious, PurpleLama. My son was born at the end of May and I was quite pleased to dress him in little more than a onesie as an infant. He never went through a naked stage but we had friends whose first child, a girl, would run around the house naked at three years old. I think they finally put their foot down when she was four.

    Ah ... But that's the rub ...
There's always truth sprinkled into everything ...
So i won't be surprised when someone uses one of these new 'tactical' devices.

I live in south Miss'ippi. It is hot in the summertime. It is hard to keep clothes on (small) people who do not recognize social convention. Fortunately, we live out in the country.

It dropped below seventy degrees F tonight, time to get the heavy blankets out!

    Brrr!

I have a hard time with the summer humidity here. I don't think I could live down there.

Note, he said "the rhetoric is heating up", the choice of words seems to indicate he hasn't exactly "bought" anything. That said, none present would disagree with your stance.

Oh, you would find it swimmingly.

Those countries allied with the UK are quietly partaking as well. Canadians hold their share in the warring in the Middle East, as a result.!!

It has been a tough couple of days to find topics to discuss without energy dropping. Much of my focus has been in my other thread about the situation at Standing Rock, as we have people there. The situation in Syria is the other dominant story and it is not an uplifting one. Looking for a good read these days is becoming difficult. Gio's Cosmic Emporium has been my refuge, lol. I will look to get a conversation or story worthy of this thread happening.
