He's pretty flippant (flip, on') about mayhem, destruction, and death. Is that appropriate for someone in his line of duty? I don't know, his flat affect, is psychopath 101. And Teal Swan is in another league comparative to presentation and sure as hell much sexier ... . Check his hands for a wedding ring ... surprise, surprise. Nyuk! Nyuk! Nyuk!

Vulnerable narcissism? When SK's experience a 'cooling off' period, it is mostly because they are in a state of satisfaction. Grande did mention the 'pleasure' factor of the murders which is the usual predominant factor. Afternoon murders? The best way of relaxing (actually blowing off steam) after a hard day's work is by murdering someone, of course.

I think he's being too hard on Alec Baldwin. Technically, yes, Alec should perhaps have verified for himself whether the gun was safe, but at the same time, there are plenty of very real-looking replicas out there that are also being used in the film industry, so Alec may not even have known that the weapon he was carrying was actually a real firearm and not a replica.
As far as I'm concerned, the responsibility entirely lies with the armorers. They are supposed to make sure that (1) the weapon is unloaded, and that (2) the barrel is empty, because the situation that killed Brandon Lee is not uncommon. It is known as "a dud" among shooters, and it often happens among people who recycle and load their own cartridges. If another live round were to be fired while there's already a bullet lodged in the barrel, then the weapon will more often than not explode and either maim or kill the shooter.

It was a scene where there was a direct aim at the cameras. As an actor likely having done a hundred scenes firing a weapon, Baldwin might have slipped up in terms of diligence and safety practices regarding guns and rifles. It would be hard to live with. Now that I'm thinking about it, it seems I might have had a dream about that. My nephew being careless with a pistol. That is sh*t one just doesn't do. I remember hunting with a friend and his younger brother and as I was about to fire, the younger brother stood up from a crouch right in front of me. That left a lasting impression. I had a neighborhood acquaintance accidentally kill himself with a shotgun while hunting. Another acquaintance purposefully stuck a shotgun in his mouth, I knew him pretty well. It was shocking. Don't Mess with Firearm Safety!
