Wow. I recognized Tommy Shaw but not Ted Nugent.

I guess he should have stuck his tongue way out. (if he did, I missed it).

Ted Nugent doesn't stick his tongue out, Sister. You're thinking of Gene Simmons of Kiss ─ and he's a bass player, not a lead guitarist.

I thought you'd be more familiar with Mr. Nugent, given how he has been openly profiling himself as about as far to the political right as it gets. He supported the invasion of Iraq, he's a gun and hunting fanatic, he's a racist, he's homophobic, and he's a staunch supporter of the US Republicans. Strangely enough, he thinks it's perfectly normal to date a 17-year old girl, even though he denies that now. From the Wikipedia page...:

Allegations of relationships with underage girls

Two women have accused Nugent of having sexual relationships with them when they were under 18 years old. In 1978, Nugent began a relationship with seventeen-year-old Hawaii native Pele Massa. Due to the age difference, they could not marry so Nugent joined Massa's parents in signing documents to make himself her legal guardian. Courtney Love also claims that she performed fellatio on Nugent when she was 12.

On The Joe Rogan Experience, Nugent denied that he had ever been in romantic relationships with underage girls, other than when he was underage himself. This goes against what Nugent previously said in a Behind the Music episode, where he admitted to several affairs with underage girls. In his 1981 song, Jailbait, Nugent wrote the lyrics:

Well I don't care if you're just thirteen

You look too good to be true

I just know that you're probably clean

There's one lil' thing I got to do to you

A cookie for who can name the writer of this song, and the name of the session guitarist who played on this track. One correct answer yields only half a cookie. )

I'll settle for half a cookie...John Farrar...have noooo idea about the guitarist.

Nope, not John Farrar. No cookie for you, Sister ─ not even a half one.

That's OK, I'm not hungry anyway...

    Then my second guess is
    Barry Gibb...

    Obs miss-spelled the name...

Okay, here's half a cookie, but I've taken a bite out of it because it's your second guess.

The guitarist, by the way, was Peter Frampton.

Dang. Now I've confused Ted Nugent with Gene Simmons. And I like rock and roll.

I was more of an Aerosmith and Led Zeppelin gal.

I'm aware of Ted Nugent's politics and he seems to have become a royal DB. (not going to write that one out)

He should have stayed in his lane.

Here are some modern dudes who have great talent and style, imo. We were just in Columbus, where they are from, and there were some fantastic local musicians at the festival we were attending. I never thought of Columbus as a music town, but I do now.

And another one. What style of music is this? It's hard to define...

I just love how things spring up that you never expect and they're just perfect.

    Perfectly Pink.

Our dear departed friend Brook liked Pink.

    T0P on TOT.

OK. Last one. My Dad never liked rock and roll. While incarnate, he surely would not have liked these fellows. But now...

I'd like to believe he has a larger appreciation.

This is epic and beautiful. Twenty-one Pilots did the theme song to Suicide Squad. The version here which begins the video is wonderful.

    The Mirror Phantom:
This reminds me of the time when I was sailing as a stewardess on the cruise-ship around the world. When we arrived in Honolulu (Hawaii) one of the toughest machine mechanics got really drunk and came on board with a new Hawaiian shirt and a ring of beautiful flowers around his neck. He didn't recognize "the Faggot" in his cabin and therefor hit and broke the mirror...staring back at him. He was forever known as The Mirror Phantom after that.
