Sepehr is stuck on the Caucasian/Aryan thing.

I have gotten a huge piece of our puzzle from him, but he is off the mark, IMO.

He's not alone. Ignoring the depth of Indian wisdom is a common mistake.

I like this scholastic approach to the whole Arya thing.

It is my understanding. Finding it felt like a sync. (24:32)

Exactly! Race really had no place in the culture wars that everyone indulges in...with the exception of me.

Here is where Racism and War came from: The gene spread north and south from that origin point. The world's first 'recorded' war occurred in this area.

The Caucasus: Complex interplay of genes and cultures

Max Planck Institute for the Science of Human History

    Summary:
In the Bronze Age, the Caucasus Mountains region was a cultural and genetic contact zone. Here, cultures that originated in Mesopotamia interacted with local hunter-gatherers, Anatolian farmers, and steppe populations from just north of the mountain ranges. Here, pastoralism was developed and technologies such as the wheeled wagon and advanced metal weapons were spread to neighbouring cultures. A new study, examines new genetic evidence in concert with archaeological evidence to paint a more complete picture of the region.

    From Wikipedia:

"The Caucasian race (also Caucasoid, [a] Europid, or Europoid) is an obsolete racial classification of humans based on a now-disproven theory of biological race. The Caucasian race was historically regarded as a biological taxon which, depending on which of the historical race classifications was being used, usually included ancient and modern populations from all or parts of Europe, Western Asia, Central Asia, South Asia, North Africa, and the Horn of Africa.

First introduced in the 1780s by members of the Göttingen school of history, [b] the term denoted one of three purported major races of humankind (those three being Caucasoid, Mongoloid, and Negroid). In biological anthropology, Caucasoid has been used as an umbrella term for phenotypically similar groups from these different regions, with a focus on skeletal anatomy, and especially cranial morphology, without regard to skin tone. Ancient and modern "Caucasoid" populations were thus not exclusively "white", but ranged in complexion from white-skinned to dark brown.

Since the second half of the 20th century, physical anthropologists have switched from a typological understanding of human biological diversity towards a genomic and population-based perspective, and have tended to understand race as a social classification of humans based on phenotype and ancestry as well as cultural factors, as the concept is also understood in the social sciences.

In the United States, the root term Caucasian is still in use as a synonym for white or of European, Middle Eastern, or North African ancestry, a usage that has been criticized.

    History of the concept

The Caucasus as the origin of humanity and the peak of beauty

In the eighteenth century, the prevalent view among European scholars was that the human species had its origin in the region of the Caucasus Mountains. This view was based upon the Caucasus being the location for the purported landing point of Noah's Ark – from whom the Bible states that humanity is descended – and the location for the suffering of Prometheus, who in Hesiod's myth had crafted humankind from clay."

In addition, the most beautiful humans were reputed by Europeans to be the stereotypical "Circassian beauties" and the Georgian people; both Georgia and Circassia are in the Caucasus region. The "Circassian beauty" stereotype had its roots in the Middle Ages, while the reputation for the attractiveness of the Georgian people was developed by early modern travellers to the region such as Jean Chardin."

The Caucasus (Mountains) 'gene' originated probably about 15,000 years ago before there was much differentiation among people even from the level of culture. The 1st recorded war was in Mesopotamia probably now viewed as part of the Middle East. By the time of the war the 'gene' had probably been around for thousands of years and had long begun its spread.

    i.e. The Scythians.

What race are Scythians? a little of this and a little of that ...

Scythian, also called Scyth, Saka, and Sacae, member of a nomadic people, originally of Iranian stock, known from as early as the 9th century bce who migrated westward from Central Asia to southern Russia and Ukraine in the 8th and 7th centuries bce.

It was in the last 10,000 years that what we call 'race' started to emerge. The racial differences evolved over a long time but it didn't become an issue until much more recent anthro-time (I haven't created a new word in a long time). The 'evil gene' latched onto it like a vice. It wouldn't surprise me that at first, the thought was 'food' and then later became an enlightened 'free labor' proposition. Much later it became the highly enlightened 'woke' issue.
