    Reading the book “Musical Truth”

This book is written by Mark Devlin, a Brit. From the synopsis:

To most people, the music industry represents a source of harmless fun and entertainment. Beneath the glossy veneer, however, lies the devastating truth of who really controls these institutions, and the deeply malevolent agendas for which they're being used.

Mark Devlin is a long-standing DJ and music journalist. ‘Musical Truth’ is the culmination of his five years’ of research into the true nature of the industry and its objectives—from dark occult rituals, to mind-controlled artists, and all points in between. The book shows how these agendas fit into the much wider picture of what’s really going on in the world, and—crucially—how the power lies with us to bring it to an end.

I’m about 50 pages in and I have picked up a lot a new information. So far I’m convinced that Paul McCartney died in 1966 (on November 9, 1966, another 9/11?) and the Deep State controls the industry (who knew?)

That claim alone already relegates the credibility of this author to the dungeons of tabloid journalism.

I was being a tad sensationalist.

He doesn’t claim it, but points out the data and the sources. I’m the one saying the data points to a higher than you’d think probability of it being true. And as you know, I’m a conspiracy geek now...it’s THE reason I hang here. Btw, It’s a very highly documented book, but a bit expensive.

Well, there are conspiracies, and there are conspiracy theories. Conspiracies can be researched and may turn up verifiable facts worth considering. Conspiracy theories on the other hand are commonly only thought up by people who can't be bothered doing any research for themselves, and who also lack the knowledge and/or the education to either rationalize or substantiate their delusional thoughts.

Just to give you an example of what I mean, look around here on the forum for threads started by Ria. She was a very prolific thread starter in the conspiracy corner, and with a few possible exceptions, none of the stuff she posted actually had a shred of truth to it.

But then again, she was gullible enough to take tabloid articles and videos from questionable YouTube sources for evidence. Not to mention that she also started the Ruiner cult here at The One Truth, and through her belief in the Ruiner material — which was nothing other than a failed rock star's idea of a bad joke on the so-called alternative community, albeit that the success it brought him with the ladies did feed his inner megalomaniac, and so he chose to sustain the illusion — she also brought about a war here on the forum, between herself and the other Ruiner groupies on the one hand, and Corey and his birdseed sniffers on the other hand.

See, Corey and Shane (the Ruiner) knew each other from La Casa Del Sombrero™, where Shane had once been a moderator. And Shane had been studying all the so-called whistleblowers whom El Sombrero™ had put up on the stage, as well as some of the other celebrities of the so-called alternative community. And given that Corey was attracting a cult following, Shane knew that his only chance at rivaling Corey's success would be to neutralize Corey and declare him a liar. So that's exactly what he did, in his blog. He wrote off Corey's story as "deliberate misinformation by the Illuminati", and then put his own spin on all the things Corey and other so-called whistleblowers had been saying. And then Ria and Breeze stumbled upon his blog and started posting that blog here on the forum, and the rest, as they say, is history.

I was recruited as a moderator in the middle of that nonsense, and I can tell you in all honesty that 10 reported posts per day was not all that exceptional back then. It even got so bad that my predecessor had to ban about 5 or 6 people for a week, all at the same time.

Eventually, the Ruiner groupies left The One Truth and settled down at Eye-Rise — where Ria was an administrator at the time — only to sour things up there as well, and then they eventually left Eye-Rise as well, with Ria deliberately deleting about half of that forum's content on her way out. And had Kathy not banned her when she did, then Ria would probably have deleted everything before leaving Eye-Rise behind her.

Anyway, I digress. My point is that not all conspiracy theories have a ground of truth to them, and anybody can start a YouTube channel, set up a website or start a blog. But either way, in the now almost three years — give and take about four months — that I've been a staff member here, The One Truth has gone through an enormous evolution in that regard. The gullible specimens have virtually all left the forum for other pastures, and those who've remained have become more mature in their choices of what to believe and what to dismiss.

This evolution is however a personal thing. It doesn't come at the same time for everyone, and a lot also depends on one's particular sphere of interest and one's experience in the field. So it may still be relatively new for you and hard to tell the chaff from the wheat, but you'll get there eventually.

Yes, I’m well aware of Shane (I was reading his ‘blog’ along with many others) and Corey, but not of the follow-on actions at Eye-Rise. Frankly, I find the destruction of any information abhorrent.

On the music scene, I’ve long felt that a malevolent undercurrent was at work. Although I lived thru the ‘Hippy Revolution’ and its musical mantra of drugs, sex, and rock and roll, I’ve always felt it was destructive. Granted I had an ultra conservative Christian religious background, but I had rejected that too as mostly false. The heaven and hell aspect certainly did not fit logically to me except as a control mechanism. Early on, I had developed a sense of ‘rightness’ and neither of these things meshed. I’d like to thank my mother for that, but I think I may have gained it on my own as she is the one who insisted I go to church, but she did not attend.

Now in my grey hair geezer days, I’m finding the factual justification to my earlier doubts on the 60s ‘revolution,’ music scene, and religion as well.

Trying hard not to be smug about it.

I trust that the info about the Paul McCartney replacement happened. Side by side, both looked so different even though they both were somewhat similar to each other. Also there was the fact that Paul was a left-handed guitarist and his replacement was right-handed.

Yes, these things are pointed out in the book. I find the photo evidence pretty damning, but the lefty/righty handedness the clincher.

As a bass player who had Paul as an example to study and well acquainted with him as an artist, I can detect no change of 'muse' and hear the same inspiration behind the body of work known as Paul McCartney with The Beatles.

It gets worse. The latest chapter I’m reading has the Beatles a product of the Tavistock institute. Devin seems to be claiming the Beatles were at the leading edge of getting ‘the kids’ into drugs, sex, satanism, and mind control by the deep state.

My friend Bob would be very upset by all of this. He's a huge Beatles fan. He probably just wouldn't believe it.

I've put this one in my mental filing-cabinet, under "too much energy wasted to prove" and it's locked until further notice.

Yeah, I was down with the Stones being Satan’s own, but the Fab 4?

Btw, Beatles being ‘the good guys’ and the Rolling Sones being ‘the baddies’ is also part of the programming. Hegelian dialectic and all that.

...I’m still pissed off over CSN and certain other Laurel Canyon bands being part of all this...

I wouldn't sweat it too much, there's more to it than just "being part of all this". Don't toss out those old Elvis LP's either, just because The Colonel was a gatekeeper as well.

In the meantime, it's been a while since I've sat down to Abbey Road with a couple of choice adult beverages. Care to join me?
