This one's from my high school years, and specifically around the time that I started playing the guitar. Actually, the song came out before I even had a guitar of my own, but once I did have a guitar and had formed a "band" — at that point, we were only a duo, really — I used the chord progression as inspiration for one of the songs of my own band (with lyrics written by the other guy).

Note: This is not the original recording as it appeared on their 1978 album, but a re-recorded version. The overall sound is a bit sharper, and Tommy's guitar solo here is also somewhat different from his original solo.

These cats have a very good nature. My niece has one at the moment and it is HUGE with a very long fluffy tail to match. They are a bit subdued, shy and careful, but when they get to know you...it's all fine.

Love the fact that they are still in our Lore and is remembered throughout our history.

Hi Elen,

I've got two cats, thanks to my daughter...

One is a rescue cat that is tabby and Maine Coon...talks a lot and is dumb as a box of rocks. I tease my daughter that he's really a genius cat that doesn't want anyont to know because he's afraid someone will come get him and take him to a laboratory for study.

The other is a tabby and Seal Point Siamese. She got that one from a friend. It's a cool cat but kind of standoffish right now...she just hit a year old. Those Norwegians are HUGE!

I was a little older than that, but I only discovered this song in the 1980s when Paul Carrack — who was Ace's lead singer and pianist — re-recorded the song for one of his solo albums.

Most people will remember this band for their hit "Driver's Seat", but I liked this song as well when it came out. It was never a big hit though.

Kevin Godley and Lol Creme are former members of 10 CC. Insofar as I know, they were never as successful as a duo compared to the group they came from, but they did release a few gems into the charts in their time, including this ghost story...
