The Big Dipper is traveling right across the mountain this time of year.
It's really enhances the night sky and it's very easy to pick out.

giovonni - welcome. I want to comment about the 'meditation' in schools. Just before my professional reputation as a Teacher was destroyed - after making Mandatory Reports - I had been helping Students to relax in the classroom.

I called it the 'Peaceful Game' - Students of all ages loved it - at the end of the class I would ask that they close their eyes and place their hands on the desk - and - picture their favourite colour. Only once did a Student jump up when the recess bell sounded - only once!!!!

It was not exactly meditation - it was just a few moments - after all their work was attended to and it was to allow them to feel peaceful. Sooooooo many Students have expressed to me their feelings of stress and not being able to sleep et cetera.

I would explain to the Students what we would be doing and we would practice first - for a minute and it would allow for giggles and fidgets et cetera. Once they had a practice we would play the game for one minute and every time they would request to play again and try for two minutes et cetera.

Meeting and becoming acquainted amongst a different soulful gathering ...

It is something that surely should be encouraged to all - young and old.
