    A Wee Cry

Just watched this wee 4 minute vid and had a wee cry, I do this a few times each week, humanity can be so so special, this is not a big tear jerker but felt to start a thread where if tears flow, members can share that joy, feeling, amazement etc >

As I tell my wonderful adopted Mongolian son, we all put our pants on the same way; one leg at a time. We are all human; we all need love and affection; we all need clothes on our backs, food in our stomachs, and a roof over our heads. We all need each other, especially since "All Is One". We are all part of the same Divine Being--The One"! And "The One" needs us as well, since we are His/Her/Its servo-mechanisms; (eyes, ears, hands , feet, minds) in the world. We are His/Her/Its actors, doers, accomplishers.

My girlfriend had to watch some documentaries lately about the history and culture of Iran around the time of their revolution. It was a really terrible time and they were under a brutal regime, and experienced terrible civil war. Ideology was strong there, and their political establishment became profoundly anti-American and anti-west in general. The people had to suffer with it.

What I see changing today is the coming of age of a new generation of young adults who have grown up in the age of the Internet and global connections. This is encapsulated beautifully in the videos above: people exchanging hope and solidarity through social media (Facebook and YouTube), bypassing the political mass media machine that has caused so much polarization in the past. We have not grown up as estranged from other parts of the world as previous generations have been. I think that is what is making all the difference, and it really is beautiful to see. It gives me a great deal of hope for the future.

    Thanks for posting this Aianawa.

Totally Bsbray and once you know we are all one as such with our cultural differences within, hard to hurt your bro/sis.

Hi Elen, it was not that one, nice though, it was more a marathon and you do not see who is pushing wheelchair as such till the end.

I used to love Survivor, probably avidly watched the first 7 or 8 years and the one 5 or six years ago when an X's nephew won it, just recently I watched 2015 survivor as had a few days to myself and enjoyed it, so when the first Aussie survivor started I chose to watch it. It just concluded 20 minutes ago, I cried, it showed blatantly, very, the times we are in. young girl won it, really, she imo had no show, made imo stupid decisions from the heart, took silly risks etc etc and won, a nice cry indeed.
