well that's a little extreme...sometimes (like in my family) we always had each other's back if we had too...meanwhile we would proceed with the normal routine of trying to kill each other...

protecting blood is one of DNA's primary objectives...spare the kin's blood and by derivation spare me (the DNA). It happens in most cases at a metacognitive level...we un/subconsciously make the calculations. Brothers and sister's are very high in that pyramid. Don't need parents...sometimes even babies are secondary...but they are a close 2nd because there is a 50% genetic share. But babies are more costly in terms of resources and have (normally) less apparent potential than an older sibling.

Worker bees will take better care of eggs and larva which are most closely genetically related to themselves. I imagine this spans the life kingdoms.

Living in an apartment building of which the ground floor apartment has been created as a physiotherapy practice ─ with its main entrance being one and the same as for the domestic apartments ─ I can understand that some people have butterfingers when ringing the therapists' intercom, or that their eyesight isn't what it's supposed to be, and that therefore they end up ringing my intercom instead.

But what gets my goat is when they mistakenly ring my intercom and then refuse to reply when I pick up and say "Hello?". They just keep their mouths shut and have another go at ringing the therapists' intercom. That's fucking rude, and it is happening time and time again.

Grrr on your behalf, brother. That is indeed rude.

I'm not annoyed at anything specific right now. There are many things in the world which people do that annoy me whenever I think about them...

The foolishness of taking sides is annoying. We're all in this together. We're all family. The stupidity of division and side-taking is annoying. Very much so.

When people let themselves be divided they are letting themselves be used.

    So annoying.

I was soooo annoyed recently, and I couldn't post.

    And now I'm not annoyed.

Much is resolved, for now. The rest is more about acceptance.

Not to worry, annoyance will come around soon enough.
