Spy cams. Take pictures and then post them everywhere.

Well, I've just sent an email to all of the owners and to the building manager, with a report of the event, and with my thoughts on improving security. I'll get into this a little farther down in this reply.

The problem however is that the building manager is already wasting lots of money on things we don't need, and his own salary isn't too shabby either. I couldn't afford to pay last year's management bill, and there's already a new one, which thus now effectively doubles my debt. And I've still got two expensive taxes to pay this month as well. I don't even have any idea how I'm going to be able to do that.

So either a burglar when told there might be camera, sees a smoke alarm and wonders if it has a camera, or you actually get one and have it for yourself to capture images.

Or a door peep hole. I think there are ones with cameras as well.

A peep hole in and of itself isn't going to do any good when you're not home. Mounting a camera in there is another thing, but that's going to be unsightly. You have to keep in mind that these are very thin doors, made out of wood pulp.

We do have battery-powered smoke alarms — this is mandated by law — but they don't look like they would be housing a camera, and I doubt whether a burglar would be paying attention to that. We also have emergency lights — again, mandated by law — which emit a green light when the lights in the hall and staircase are off. The main lights in the hall and staircase have timers on them. The one in the hall is triggered by a motion sensor, and the ones in the staircase have to be switched on by pushing a button, and after about a minute or so, they switch themselves off again.

I have brought up the subject of cameras — real and fake — in the email I just sent to the other owners and to the building manager. But it's already past office hours now, so they'll only get to see it in the morning. And I'm also worried because I do actually have to go out the door tomorrow, and whoever tried to break in here today could be coming back for a new attempt — even though I doubt that they'd try it again so soon.

But it's either way obvious that this building is being watched. I do always keep my eyes open for any suspicious looking vehicles out in the street when I go out the door, and I've already noticed a couple of those, but then again, it could just as easily be harmless — e.g. someone sitting in their car and waiting for a patient of the physiotherapy to come back out, or someone who's answering a text message on their phone, or something like that.

Feeling annoyed by people and for being misunderstood and feeling emotionally drained once again, the story of my life. I do like and love many people and especially family is important to me, but sometimes I get so frustrated even with them too. I'd honestly just rather be on my own than deal with people, because it is just too annoying at times. Animals don't have egos so it's much easier to live with them. No judgment, no nitpicking, no blaming, no God damn arguments... Sorry, I had to get that out of my system.

Ah yes, the young ones. They're wonderful. They see what we no longer can. That doesn't make me mad.

I'm so pissed off right now I just sat outside for an hour. Just sitting. The fireflies are lovely and it's still quiet out. The August cacophony has not yet begun.

    And I'm still angry.

I work my ass off for people and they act like spoiled brats. And they wouldn't be where they are without me. And they can't do it on their own. And they're acting like spoiled brats.

    It's really just one person.

    Grrrrr!

Maybe I'm repeating myself, but I'm getting really tired of people and the endless drama I have to put up with. Did I say that I probably hate arguing more than anything? It's even worse when people close to me get personal and get verbally abusive. Sure I can argue, I just don't like the feeling it always causes. I don't even like to make other people feel bad even though I could, because I know I have a really sharp tongue! Wtf is wrong with people and their egos? I'm always the one who is trying to solve and fix issues (both big and small ones - and not just in my own life either) by helping others too and I have to put up with so much shit. Besides that I have to deal with the issues in my own life and I wouldn't wish even my worst enemy to experience what I've had to endure healthwise, then again I don't have enemies. If I annoy someone, for all I care they can take a hike. I want to have my peace and be done with this nonsense of human drama.

Well I let loose last night. Said some things I haven't said before. Heard some things I haven't heard before. Whew!

And we worked things out, the sun has risen and a new day is upon us.

    Goodness Gracious. Jeez Louise.
