Queen is getting a rise despite being in position to end world poverty immediately

It is very positive that this news is being recorded by the official media - something which is becoming more common.

‘The Queen is set to receive an inflation-busting 22 per cent ‘pay rise’ over two years, according to new official figures.

The monarch is said to be ‘down to her last �1 million’, leaving her vulnerable to ‘unexpected costs’, a report has said.

She is now expected to be given �37.9 million in 2014-15 to run her Household and conduct official engagements, up from �31 million in 2012-13.

The figures were released yesterday by the National Audit Office which has, for the first time, been allowed to examine all aspects of the Queen’s funding as Head of State.’

Is the fact that her eyes are almost black here have something to do with the lighting? The 'real' colour of her eyes is violet. She and Princess Margaret (along with Elizabeth Taylor who was born in England and married Hilton heir) were famous for the violet eyes. My mother saw the two princesses in the forties in London and confirmed that their eyes were really violet.

That's what I was thinking - and it does happen. I switched computer at the internet point though and her eyes were much lighter on the other computer.
