It was actually 19 hijackers.

At the same time, I think Fars was the same news company that carried a "Sorcha Faal" article a year or two ago, so they apparently use an eclectic range of sources to say the least.

    +1 bsbray

I think the timing works out well too.

Erdogan had just returned from Moscow on a reconciliation visit, there was news even about restitution payments to Russia for that downed Su-24 ground support jet...

Whether it was Moscow that alerted Turkey is still not officially known. However, it is fair to say that Russia is openly interested in maintaining stability in the area, a coup in Turkey works against that objective.

That Israel has permitted Russian military aircraft to enter Tel-Aviv airspace while operating in their Syrian ops is an indication they share interests with Russia in some aspects there. If that means they actively work for stability in Turkey is unknown but we should never discount their involvement.

The real kicker here is Erdogan post-coup move was to clamps down on more freedoms in Turkey. Whether we are seeing a calm before the plunge into more violence or whether those actions will result in a shaky new equilibrium/stability remains to be seen. Will the people revolt? or not?

Headline: "Credible Evidence" Shows Turkish Authorities Raped And Tortured Detainees Since 'Failed' Coup

    Looks pretty bad.

It is even worse if this is another false flag.
