    Unexplained Booms in Alhambra, California

March 16, 2016 Alhambra, California – Since February 2016, there have been several very loud booms — “like half a stick of dynamite” exploding close by. People call authorities, police investigate, USGS checks seismic records and there are no tremors, military say there are no planes breaking sound barriers. No answers. Similar unexplained and repeating booms have been reported on the East Coast since January 2016.

Fox News reported on March 9, 2016:

Emanuel Pascual heard the strange sounds on five separate occasions in February and even tweeted about it. “When the explosions happen you look outside and there is nothing… You don’t see anything that’s going on… You don’t hear no car alarms going off which is kind of strange.” said Pascual.

Alex Arevalos heard them too. A sound so loud it shook his house…. He first thought it was a train that runs nearby. “usually the train is kind of a continuous… This was more of like a sudden jolt.”

Beginning in mid-February, Alhambra police started getting calls about the mystery booms, the last time they were heard was February 22nd. And it’s not just residents hearing the strange sounds… But firefighters… Police officers… Even city officials.

Christopher Paulson is the Director of Administrative Services for the city. He first heard the booms in mid-February. “We were at an event at the library in their open air patio and I heard it on the open air patio about 8 pm that night and it was a very loud explosion like noise… That’s the best way I can think of to describe it at this point.” said Paulson.

I was in the field (outside all day) in Oklahoma near the Texas border (BurkBurnett TX), and I heard these at this time - it sounded like a Civil War re-enactment..artillary fire in the distance.. Extremely interesting. It lasted for at least an hour.. Sounded unbelievable.. cannon fire in the distance !

I certainly can understand lay people hearing this type of stuff would be suspicious of something going on !

Coincidentally, Earth was experiencing a solar storm.

My understanding, depending on the angle of attack of the particle stream, when the geomagnetic field is "hit" at the exact angle, like a rock skipping on the surface of a calm pond, there are these acoustic pulsations that happen, which one can hear audibly - the pressure waves are audible..

These sounds are bizarre. They make me think of trumpets, giant machinery, giant brakes squeaking, or even a kind of feed-back. They've been heard on the east coast, but I haven't heard anything. Neither when I was out west.

Many of the two sun shots I've seen look like sun dogs. Marshall Masters describes this term as a psychological tool of manipulation that was introduced fairly recently. I've been hearing the term since I first met my husband in '88. I see sun dogs a lot. I can't say what's in the atmosphere causing it but it's a lovely phenomenon. Not all of the shots look like sun dogs.

The last video has some of the best 'trumpet sounds'. The videos of the light pillars are very good. I hadn't seen the multicolored ones before.

The sink holes are beautiful and scary. There's granite beneath my feet and I'm currently quite glad for that. If there's an earthquake we'll shake like mad but there won't be any liquefaction.
