How but Did the gentlenesses descend showering light salve

? Through shields n Gates plus trickery, Neit

With intention n with Universal Grace, I aM

Mirror feels n furrows and deep, burrows

Once thy reflection is thy live Walk

Y old judgement now gone, not

    Smiles surprising, arising How

    Cantations old dry n dying

    As time continues fast

    Feeling so so slow

    Dimension Door

    NoWhere now

Hmm... That's not what I'm seeing over here in Western Europe, Brother. Definitely not a lull, and especially not here in Belgium. Everybody's already ramping up for the elections in May. And on a global scale, we've just had the attacks in Sri Lanka.

The only two topics about which it has been relatively quiet these last couple of days ─ in stark contrast with the frenzy earlier ─ are Donald Trump and Brexit.

Agreed. I’m wondering actually if Europeans are finally losing patience with all the problems they are importing from conflict zones through mass immigration and the refugee racket. I think it was Stefan Molyneux that said once, Europeans are nice and peaceful, until they’re not. I fear a backlash is overdue and it won’t come from the places you’d expect, such as Hungary, Denmark, Russia or Trump’s America, because people are already free to express their frustration with the refugee racket and their leaders are actually taking their concerns seriously and taking actual steps to mitigate the widespread abuse of the asylum system, whether you agree with them or not. I suspect trouble will come from those countries where the entire political class is in denial and any dissent is swiftly suppressed, such as France, Germany, or Sweden.

I am also a contrarian on the whole Islamisation theme, I think the radicalisation of Islam has made it increasingly untenable for ordinary decent people to continue being Muslims. There are many reports of people that saw the horrors inflicted by Isis renouncing their religion. Most have become Atheists or Agnostics, but quite a few have converted to Christianity. In any case, I don’t see much of a future for Islam given the daily horrors inflicted in its name. Most people are not psychopaths and won’t want to be associated with all the evil committed in their name.

Can one feed a lull, who is not within a lull, a lull imo starts because the future needs it.

Well, the sad part is that it is once again the far-right that addresses these issues, while the more moderate parties remain in denial about it, and the left in turn embraces the mass immigration ─ not out of truly humanitarian concerns, but because it is a means for them to profile themselves as progressives and humanitarians. I've said this before, but if there is a job opening at the socialist workers union or another socialist organization here and ten people are applying for the job, one of whom is a socially controversial figure ─ be it someone of a different ethnicity, or an LGBT person ─ then that is the candidate who gets the job. Likewise, the socialist party actively recruits people of foreign ethnicity for their electoral lists, so that the immigrants would vote for the socialist party. And earlier on, during the 1990s, the green party did the exact same thing.

For the left, it's all about profiling themselves as rebels. They don't care about actual social justice, or else they wouldn't be lining their pockets in corruption scandals. And the right ─ populist as ever ─ is addressing the issue only because they know all too well that it is an issue, and especially among the frightened, the poor and the uneducated. For them, it's their ticket to an electoral victory, and thus toward a chance at participating in government. Here in the Flanders, the political climate is decisively right-wing and authoritarian, whereas the Walloon region is currently Keynesian-liberal but traditionally more socialist and ethically liberal.

I can't say that I have seen any signs of Muslims turning away from Islam over here yet, and especially not here in town. In fact, this is a town with a significant Muslim population, and 99% of them are very conservative. The women all cover their heads, they all raise their children in Arabic ─ or Turkish, depending on their origins ─ and they even listen to Arabic (or Turkish) music when they're driving their cars.

Now, my stance is this... We are all human beings, and we have to be tolerant with one another. But when one side is being tolerant and liberal while the other side is being conservative and intransigent, then the latter is going to end up waltzing all over the former. It takes two to tango ─ to stay with the dance vernacular ─ and you can never come to a peaceful coexistence when there is intransigence on one side of the equation.

I am tolerant and I have no problem accepting that there are people who come from a different culture. In fact, I think it could be interesting to compare notes, and in the end, everyone comes out smarter and wiser. But at the same time ─ and I don't like saying this, but I'm being honest ─ more often than not, I feel like I'm the foreigner here in town.

And don't get me wrong, it's not because these people are Muslims or of Arabic or Turkish origins, because when I go over to the village where I grew up ─ where there are also lots of immigrants, albeit not as much as here in town ─ then I've got the same feeling because of all the people from Antwerp who've moved there, and who still maintain their typical Antwerp city mentality. And it's also the exact same feeling as I have as when it comes to the role the USA plays on the international scale ─ a role with an impact that's now partly starting to wane, thanks to the idiocies of Donald Trump, because now the world is starting to wake up to the fact that the American Emperor truly wears no clothes.

When it comes to immigration, there are several reasons as to why people choose to move to a for them foreign location. They could be refugees ─ and the current immigration crisis is supposedly all about people seeking asylum, but not all of those immigrants are refugees, any more than that the original colonists of the Americas would have been. You also get adventurers, criminals and other restless individuals who make the journey. And those are the people you will commonly have problems with, because those are the ego-driven ones, who won't adapt and who won't yield to anyone. They have a false sense of entitlement, just like the European colonists who massacred the native North American people and drove the survivors into reservations, or who committed atrocities against the South American natives and ended up converting essentially the whole of South America to Catholicism and the use of Spanish as their native tongue.

And that is the problem with the European immigration crisis. Had those immigrants all been refugees, then half of the problem would have been solved. The other half of the problem lies with the politicians who only embrace this crisis as a means to profile their own political identity ─ "Look at us, look at how progressive, liberal and peaceful we are!", and at the same time they are introducing one authoritarian rule after the other and they're being quite intransigent themselves toward the native population.

So again, don't get me wrong. I am most definitely in the progressive camp, but I'm sober-minded enough to recognize where the problem lies when it comes to mass immigration. And when it comes to Islam, I consider it a dangerous social phenomenon, because Islam is more than just a religion. Islam is a political ideology rooted in religious beliefs, and it is being spread through indoctrination and fanaticism. During the middle ages, Catholicism was very similar, but the main difference is that the people here in the West adhered to Catholicism out of fear for the power of the Roman Catholic Church on the one hand, and the Devil on the other hand. The common people themselves didn't have the same level of programming as the average Muslim immigrant today.

Most of the resident Muslims here in Belgium stem from immigrants who came from the poorest regions of their respective home countries, and these original immigrants had also never enjoyed a higher education. That's how they ended up here in the first place, because our government lured them over here with promises of wealth in the 1950s and 1960s in order to get them to work in the coalmines, given that the native Belgians no longer wanted to do that dangerous and unhealthy work. It is a statistical fact that poor people who haven't had much of an education are generally quite conservative, and that they are easy targets for religious indoctrination.

The spreading of Islam is therefore a convoluted issue, with many different angles. And the same is true on account of the European immigration crisis right now. There isn't a clear-cut answer to the problem, because it's a combination of many different problems, all working in conjunction. I am not going to go so far as to say that it was all orchestrated ─ or at least, not if you wish to attribute it to a plan made by humans. It could be intentional at some higher, cosmic and multidimensional scale, but on the human scale, no, it's just a coalescence of multiple related and unrelated factors.

In theory, the immigration crisis could be resolved ─ and quite humanely so ─ but in practice, I don't think it's possible, because none of the people who like profiling themselves as our enlightened leaders possess the wisdom, empathy and integrity to pull it off. Narcissists only care about themselves.

This is much more complex than it first appears:
The liberals attempt to equalize things in the search for egalitarianism and the right fights it and it is the right than owns the money and the power and business...So the end result to use an analog of American construction industry...a minority gets the job and then is granted the honor of wielding a shovel for 30 years. When the 'regular human' gets hired he/she will steadily move up the socio-financial ladder. Is that REALLY equal opportunity? No, not really...it is another facade that works because people got no sense.
