I think we are already slowly building into that. I'm starting to see some of the other kids in the school yard looking at the bully in a way not dared before, that look like "we're getting tired of your shit, and if we band together we might just stand a chance of pressuring you into backing down and losing face".
Well, if that is true, then Donald Trump will certainly be serving as a "yuge" (albeit utterly unwilling and unintentional) catalyst in that regard, because on the one hand he's been ramping up on that bullying and that national narcissism, both of which are provocative, and on the other hand, he's such a pathetic clown that a few countries might see his faltering as an opportunity to strike back.
I don't see it happening yet, but yes, it is building up. Europe is already starting to resist ─ not just politically, but also on account of the opinions published in the mainstream media over here ─ and that trade war with China isn't going to end well either. And on top of that, the US meddling with Venezuela is being handled so clumsily and transparently that the rest of the world isn't going to let Agent Orange™ get away with it.
For Whatever Its Worth: I've tried to explain what drives this kind of thing...and it isn't healthy....Owens may really believe that this road is her ticket to ride...but she is in for a very very rude awakening when the chickens come home to roost (How about that for mixed metaphor)
