The lies of other politicians are neither justification nor rationalization. We have to do our best to put the best folks we can in office, or run ourselves.

We don't have another system yet and chaos and warlords make for a lot of slaves.

Trump is in charge if folks let him be in charge. Several of my friends have become sell-outs. They admit that he's doing everything they said they were against, and they say they don't care because they're getting what they want.

It's not shocking, but it is very disappointing.

The only difference between your statement of politicians and Trump is that Trump's history is well documented and supported by thousands of non-politicians...Professionals of all ilks have witnessed and gauged the character of one Donald J. Trump. Psychologists, Attorneys, Judges, Law Enforcement, Sociologists, Clergy, Accountants, Authors, ad infinitum. Many of these people are respected for their honesty. Trump is not just another dishonest politician. He is a threat to all that exists that is worth preserving. There is absolutely no justification for him.

This 'spying' thing is a great example of how conservatives make up bogeymen to be scared of and rile folks up.

I recall when Phil Donohue was a serious TV guy and we would talk about episodes in school. Then he turned into a shock show and really lost it.

The person who was on TV at the same time and didn't go Springer was Oprah. And she had the most longevity.

The important thing being lost here is that there is a difference between the truth and a lie. Refer to Giovonni's thread that has a short 'truth' presentation by Teal Swan. We simply have to work hard at the skill of 'divining' the truth. There is an answer to ambiguity and duplicity and let's call it 'divination' and that is it.

It's just like the pavlovian conditioning that's happened with Hillary.
