Jeez, people seriously think Hillary's running some kind of coup behind the scenes?

Dear Lord, help them for they know not what they do.

I don't know what source Mr. MENSA™ was quoting from ─ I can wager a few guesses ─ but this particular snippet below says it all...

Whatever the source, you can clearly see the degree of right-wing bias, utter cluelessness and denial regarding the reality behind the QAnon phenomenon in that article. So much for Mr. MENSA™'s reliable news sources.

not to mention...... HRC.... a socialist?????????????????????

I've grown to like these animated bits. They're funny.

oh gawd...where are the 'counter' voices...these people are all frauds...cesspool floaters.

Sekulow started with rightwing code...children and grandchildren...disgusting

rule of law, another code phrase to the right wing authoritarians.

These people are descipable...They start their discourse with the Pavlovian trigger and then the ensuing propaganda is received by mindless automatons. What terribly disturbed non-humans these people are.

But scummy is correct...rule of law says a sitting President cannot be indicted...which puts Trump in the catbird seat...he can break laws with impunity. And that is in essence was what Mueller conceded. He is a rule of lawer.

Is that a good thing to apply to the likes of Trump...

I'm watching Trump award posthumously a Staff Sgt. killed in Iraq. While introducing his family, he actually had a slight grin on his face...Why? because he gets to be the center of attention...

And that is why the United States of America does not have a president but an elected king ─ or emperor, if you will.

What happens when the world loses the "Beacon on the Hill"? Who will pick up the torch?

I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but why do people want to see the downfall of America? Do they think they'll escape the fallout? Do they think they'll avoid the right-wing fascism? Do they have their heads in the sand?

Perhaps rather than wanting to see the downfall of America, I think that a lot of people are rather wanting to see America's karma being delivered. America has always pretended to be the beacon on the hill, but in reality, it has always been more of an opportunistic schoolyard bully than a beacon.

There has always been decadence and perversion in the world, but it is an undeniable fact that America has been the beacon of decadence for the entire world since the end of World War II, due to its consumerist society full of emotionally and mentally immature people, in combination with its cultural narcissism and ignorance, and its imperialistic military behavior all over the planet. And that is why there are many ─ especially in the Middle East ─ who hate the USA. It's not because US Americans are "free" ─ which they are not, unless we're talking of the US corporate world.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, for as long as it is necessary to repeat this: the USA is a de facto crypto-fascist country. That didn't start with Donald Trump, and it didn't even start with George W. Bush. It was already like that since the days of Joseph McCarthy, and may even have already been that way for much longer. Either way, if the (first) Cold War didn't create that political climate, then it certainly sealed it.

I am not going to say anything about US internal politics, but what America needs, first and foremost, is to get off its high horse and stop masturbating to the glory of its own greatness. Most of the population of North America ─ so I'm including Canada now ─ are the descendants of European outcasts, adventurers and refugees, who, all for their own reasons, chose to turn their backs on all that was going wrong in Europe. But today, North America ─ and especially the USA ─ is still that rebellious child when it comes to Europe, all while it could learn so much from all the mistakes that Europe has made in the past, instead of repeating those mistakes but with a different name given to them. The USA as a nation needs a lesson in humility.

Just my two cents, for whatever they're worth. I have no problem with individual US Americans, because I have many friends there. But personally, as a non-American looking in from the outside, I do have a problem with both the USA's culture of narcissistic make-believe, and with the USA's geopolitical role.

It goes all the way back to the era of our founding. The slaughter of the natives, The Monroe Doctrine, Manifest Destiny, and the hits go on and on as the testosterone built up.

Way to go, because the arrogance, ignorance, and lust for domination spans pretty much our whole political spectrum. There ARE dissenting voices, but in all essence they are sneered at and spit upon. They can also lose their job if they are a mainstream public figure, like Phil Donahue and Jesse Ventura lost their gigs at MSNBC for speaking out against IRAQ War 2.

I don't see that happening until the school yard bully, as you put it, gets popped with a black eye in front of everyone. Which leads me to the final quote:

I think we are already slowly building into that. I'm starting to see some of the other kids in the school yard looking at the bully in a way not dared before, that look like "we're getting tired of your shit, and if we band together we might just stand a chance of pressuring you into backing down and losing face".
