In my view Aianawa, I pay no attention or very little to USA politics, there seem plenty enough to do so already and I think quite a bit would be irrelevant if people stopped giving them as much power in the past. As part of the global family that energy is big brother thinking it has to take the masculine lead and it in fact stands tall and casts shadows on the forest floor.

The manuka is the great healer of the forest, it heals the soils from a burn and grows quickly to form a canopy of protection which does not cast shadows, in order to allow the towering giants to be nurtured in the early stages. Then is STANDS ASIDE humbly and continues to feed the floor of the forest. It is the tea tree, filled with healing properties even for the humans.

Yesterday the Administration declared that they would separate mothers from children, babies included, who immigrate illegally. I can only imagine what's going to happen to small children who are undocumented being separated from their families. We don't actually have programs or facilities to deal with this.

Are members here aware how long people who are arrested by immigration can be incarcerated? There's no limit. There's no due process.

Think about that. We have people who have been in prison months, sometimes years, with no due process, no representation, no sign of going anywhere.

And what happens to those babies? Do people think we have some kind of stellar foster care system? Or that these children are all going to be adopted?

No one even knows what will happen to them.


But hey, maybe we'll feel better if we can lock up Hillary.

I identify Trump as an important piece on the board, I recognise where Aianawa is coming from to an extent. I err from total agreement as I am not sure of the depth of my fellow kiwi's meaning on the matter.
I don't like or love Trump, but see he is doing work he doesn't realise he is doing and that it is having results in ways alluded to.
Akin to being faced with visual reference of the daily sewerage production of a city on one hand.
The satirical potus. My mindseye flashed Mad magazines' Alfred E Neuman and Ronald McDonald when the thought of The Apprentice president was voiced.
Satire and Parody are powerful devices in political commentary. For the first time (from where I sit) the USA has a president that doesn't have as many fanatical followers. Sure there are some, but not as many Big Brother lovers as in times past.
One hopes this sobered outlook allows more to see the state of things a bit more. Still not enough has happened yet, I really hope he stays in office long enough to break ALL of the chairs.

He has very fanatical followers actually. That's why he said he could shoot someone in Times Square and get away with it. His base says, "Yeah!"

Their fanaticism is much more religious than would be expected from someone like Trump. That's why I posted the bit about the Evangelicals and the comparison to the religious followers in Germany pre-WWII.

They're working hard to bring forth the end-times. This is something that should cause concern.

End Times involves world wars.


(And who in the world welcomes back prisoners at 3AM and talks about TV ratings? Good Lord)
