Don't get me wrong, he's been bad, but he's still the better alternative for the only people that count in US presidential elections, Midwestern swing-state voters. These are generally white, Christian, rural, law-and-order people and they have seen what the Democrats have done to their cities. I can't see them voting Democrat in this election, you'd sooner see them vote for the Devil.

I think you may be a bit off the mark there, Chris. Covid spikes have been occurring well before the recent protests, caused by the very folks refusing to social distance and wear masks. Spring break activities, private parties, bars, church services, filled restaurants and more have been causing increases in cases since the beginning of the efforts to flatten the curve. Which is why we have failed so badly.

We're not even out of the first wave. And flu season is just around the corner.

Trump is not doing well in either the swing states or the supposed safe ones. And the response to the civil rights abuses has been spreading out into the small towns. Trump continues to lose rather than gain support.

Calling folks thugs who are gathering to support human rights is pretty harsh. The actual thugs are a very small part of what is happening. The largest part is people who want to see the abuse end.

I will remind you again that the lefties in America do not support the Democrats. I don't know why you think they do. The Democrats would win a great deal more elections if they did. The lefties surely didn't vote for Hillary.

A huge amount of votes will be anti-Trump in exactly the same manner that a bunch of votes were anti-Hillary.
