I found this discussion quite interesting and insightful

All the above is all and only my opinion. It may contain some sharing of components of my current operating strategy and some foundational components of my current world view - all subject to change and not meant to be true for anyone else regardless of how I phrase it.

    Hi Sam
This documentary was suggested in the interview. I've wanted to see this one for a long time. So here it is. Kumare. Made by a fake Guru.

And it is not a youtube, so it doesn't embed as usual, OK

Having seen it now, it shows you how we all are Gurus (teachers), for each other and to ourselves. We really do not need the bigshots that wants our worship and energy.
Everything is inside of us. Be inspired by everyone, but do not follow anybody.

    What a great documentary!

    Aianawa, spot on!

I haven't watched the video of the self made guru. I have heard the story. I got a strong impression from Tim's telling that there was a powerful group dynamic going on. I also loved the image of the kids 'playing guru'.

I have family that were followers of Sai Baba. They handled his death well and life goes on. In general, the followers await his reincarnation.

I think it was Tim who said that the time for gurus is past. +1 to that.

We do need wayshowers though, truthfullll guru's are usually role models of our future potential evolved Earth bound souls.

So guru's will indeed die out as such lol.

Hi Joanne - maybe the issue is regional? Try going to Youtube and type in the Guru Tim Freke - then look for the video that has the cartoon dog.

Here is another link to Kumari that works

"If I were a twenty year old girl... I would love hanging out with me."

statement made by Bhagavan Das - Guru of Devotion in the film, Kumare

wow - I gotta remember that line.

I started watching Kumare, and it's amazing. The problem is that it abruptly cuts off after 46 minutes and I haven't found the whole version online yet.

Even though the guy sets out to fake being a guru just to show people how gullible they are, he ends up actually changing peoples' lives for real. And the meditations and exercises he makes up actually start to have effects -- even on "Kumare" himself. So it looks like the realization he is coming towards halfway through the documentary is that we don't necessarily even need real gurus. People will see in the guru whatever it is that they need to see, and everyone sees something a little bit different. All we need is the idea of a guru, to allow us to find our inner guru and transform ourselves.

Having a belief system crushed, while hugely beneficial, is damn tough, few that choose to go within, do not need role models, disspellers, lol gurus, so most of us learn the hard way and also become the role models to some extent, once you know, you know.

You definitely have had an interesting 2015.

I listened to a few of this fellows videos after Wind posted one addressing Covid-19. This one is good. He admits his own vulnerability as well as dalliances with guru-life. (At eight minutes he mentions David Wilcock).
