    Let's Get Into It: Trump

Pat Condell, who since the US 911 event, has been a harsh, articulate voice of common sense.

here's his take on Donald Trump's call for a pause of US Muslim immigration.

    I don't know this man's work.

Speaking bluntly isn't the same as being an honest person. There's plenty of dishonesty in Trump's history. He also uses his money and clout to suppress speech as when he threatened to sue anyone who showed the unflattering film about him. Outlander has graciously provided it for us.

This man seems to be as upset at political correctness as anything. Trump would institute his own form of political correctness which would likely include blaming everything on liberals. Republicans have been practicing their own version of political correctness for decades.

I've lost track of how many times I've been called liberal for simply questioning or criticizing a conservative opinion.

My comment is political because Pat's statement is political.

There is a terrible dearth of honesty among politicians and businessmen.

To hold Trump up as some example of honesty is an insult to honesty, IMO.

"To hold Trump up as some example of honesty is an insult to honesty, IMO."

we can debate a person's honesty all day long.
this tread is about a requested reset of national sovereignty and protection.

good idea? bad idea? misguided? appropriate? too harsh? or just right?

watch this US/ABC News report: how political 'optics' (correctness) gets people killed.

I heard a line from a fiction movie some time ago: "If you steal something that has already been stolen, is it really stealing?"

So applying the same analogy to Trump perhaps a good question would, "If you are dishonest in an arena plush with lies, are you really dishonest?"

Perhaps claims of "Trump honesty" is a statement more akin only to the shedding of one layer of lies.

We can all see the truth before our eyes.

The "moderate muslim" community, as much as they may preach peace and preach opposition to their extremist kins, have done nothing meaningful about the problems arising from their ranks.

So now the task and cost of fixing a muslim problem has transboarded the boundaries of the religion; now people like Trump must stand up and offer a solution to a problem faced by a fearful population seeking solutions from their leaders.

The solution, in whatever form it takes, will be a burden and a cost for people who would challenge the claim that Mohammed even is a prophet.

I purport that there is a lie hidden in that offer of a solution.

Maybe the "moderate muslim" community are indeed just doing their part in a global PSYOP that makes us all uncertain about what to believe or how to act. Maybe the extreme muslims are also doing their part too.

That would mean that there is no reset of national sovereignty or protection. There is only a measure of acceptable collateral damage that is paid in the form of blood, so that the cost of being free also made intolerably high.

As such, it is likely seen to be an opportunity; it is a social pattern, that when conjured, is effective in changing culture and value of the populace in measurable ways. Trump in all of is is a pawn, mind you a "superior pawn" who will answer the calls of the "player".

well said, Icam88. I do agree we are all in the middle of a global PSYOP.

and as for trump's 'ban,' or pause being 'unconstitutional' or anti-free-rights?

here's the truth. immigrates are not covered by a country's citizen rights.

'better to be safe than sorry.'
it seems the world no longer believes this common truth.

    yes.

The issue seems to be more about human rights requiring a hair-cut.

The population was deemed to need to be faced with animals foaming from the mouth, and that is what the media seems to be giving us.

    Selbstjustiz
I see a word similar to "justice" hidden there. No coincidence.

    Not allowed you say?

Oh come on?? Trump is a shill for Hillary to be elected IMHO.

These are all political games and you are buying into them!! When the non extremist Catholics/Christians/ and all other so called faiths purported to believe in goodness stand up and stop the carnage, abuse, rape and pillage around the world, then maybe the non extremists Muslims will too!!

The game is all inclusive and the only real sovereignty is not just knowing this but living it daily in your lives.

They have been really ramping this S**T up for months now and falling in line will be exactly what they want and why they continue to egg on more people with incessant violence.

This Knuckle dragging mindset has to end or the world will, it is as simple as that. Stop voting, stop consuming, stop watching TV, stop complying, stand out with your sovereignty and dare to be different than the herd........if not for you then for the future generation.

Just these simple actions taken by the majority would cripple the Globalists!!

Well the Zionists want Hillary in. The top of the pyramid would also like to see a ban on all religion (this was told to me last week and comes from the top). The religion aspect is being heavily discussed at the moment. Most are in favor of an all out ban.

I don't know what to make of Trump, as in, I don't know who he's taking orders for or towards what end, but you can bet as in all politics that there's more going on behind the scenes and we aren't getting the whole story.

He raises a lot of issues that I think deserve to be raised, but then the question I have is what Trump's solution would be. He's already talked about shutting down parts of the Internet, saying he doesn't know anything about how to do it but he'd get a hold of people who do. I don't trust him in general because the guy could change his stance on anything and then just run his mouth to justify it, just like his promise that he wouldn't run as independent if he didn't make the nomination. He's already suggesting he'd go back on that. He only made the promise because it was convenient at the time. No different than any other politician.

The second video is interesting. Notice all the crossed arms. Seriously, who's gonna raise their hand to say they're an extremist?

I don't know the context but this guy is just leading the crowd.

I'm not impressed by Liz Wheeler. Her "liberal media" comments are silly and pointless. How does she know what they think and feel? She speaks as if they're some kind of homogenous monolith. She's begun the segment by creating an emotional bias against reporters.

The guest's point about the thousands dead in Iraq and Afghanistan was strange. They were war deaths, not terrorist attacks. We chose to respond to 9/11 by invading Afganistan.

We chose to take our eye off the ball and go to Iraq. We chose to ignore Cheney's flip flop. He knew and said years before that it would be a quagmire.

The real question here is how do we screen immigrants as Muslim? People don't carry around religious IDs. There are many religions that call for head coverings. Someone could throw on a Star of David, learn a few phrases and say they're a Jew.

    What are the parameters?

ERK, how in the world can people think they can ban religion? In America?

It's clear to me that leaders here have taken actions to whip up religious frenzy, especially among Muslims. Is the plan to follow this with a ban? "There's no way to know who's a moderate in any religion so for the 'safety' of everyone there's going to be a moritorium on religious practice." Is that the idea?

Anyone here remember Ben Franklin? I for one am tired of watching Americans give up freedom for security. (Patriot Act, etc.)
