    Sun Gazing

    First, have we any sun gazers on our community ?, I do it off and on when able but not yet ever got past a couple of minutes, that's starting with the ten seconds first, going up ten seconds each time, anyway feel like a great talk at present.

    I do it if the Sun's going down in front of my face while I'm driving. There might have been some small effect but nothing I can't explain with the placebo effect.

    Btw just so we are all clear, you're only supposed to look at the Sun with your peripheral vision when it is setting on the horizon or rising in the morning (and red/orange), and not directly at it, especially during the middle of the day, or it'll really screw up your eyes.

    Thanks for the links. I'm fascinated by these things but I can't help thinking that it's only certain special people who.can do this. Perhaps we all can to a certain degree. It could be like a supplement.

    I accidentally glanced at the sun the other day. For a few moments everyone I walked by had pink highlights on their faces.

    I don't know how I missed this thread. I have sun gazed for a good while now. The way I learned you begin by using tree leaves on live trees. A bank of trees facing the sun rise and yet another facing the sun set are needed.

    The area you live around provides ample selection. Some trees work better for this but you gaze at the sun once the UV index is 0 as anyone else. However, you do it looking through the fluttering leaves of the trees to music while you stand on the earth bare foot!

    I never get sick even when everyone else around me does. If I do its far less time down for me most always than most others also. I attribute it and my general health to this and how it opened me to grounding and that benefit above and beyond sun gazing. This morning the sun was a beautiful orange glowing ball and through the trees (Hackberry) and bamboo plants and those leaves it was a stunning refraction of light and color so much so that during a Enya song it brought me to tears! I love those moments. Its very humbling to meet the sun and have it grab ya!

    That was a beautiful post, jengelen. It's lovely to hear about these personal experiences. I certainly love the sunlight as it comes through the trees. It makes for beautiful light coming in the windows.

    I did the entire HRM protocol 2010 to 2011. It took me 9 months. I live in 4 seasons so I started in the winter for the short times. I cut out the bottoms of lambs wool slippers to keep feet warm and still get a foot and ground connection. I live near the ocean so I was able to view the sun right at sunrise. I used pinhole glasses when my times were longer. I did not get the results HRM claims but it was a nice experience watching the sunrise every morning. I do not do it nowadays only because I am too tired to get up early even though I love the twilight to sunrise morning stillness and listening to nature awaken. Enjoy the experience!
