    Question What is a Pathway

    To choose no Pathway, does this make free choice null and void?

    A pathway has to be invidious to the person who is going to use it.

    To choose none seems to be the worst thing to do.

    To spend some time searching and looking into the many pathways, may seem to be a waste of time, but may suit a person who wants to feel their way first, or in fact suits a particular need within you, but to search first is considered to be part of your pathway.

    A pathway specialises in certain steps to follow, which will give you what that particular pathway offers to you.

    In some cases a non-religious pathway could be best for you, in other cases to follow a religious pathway may be of little use to you unless it offers some semblance of faith and trust, which would be there to help you through hard times.

    You will usually find the right one for you when it sticks itself right in you face and you can't resist following it.

    To not follow any pathway at all is against your reason for coming here, since all the planets in the Milky Way Galaxy are so pathway inclined, you must have wanted to follow one here, or otherwise you would have gone to follow something else in another Galaxy or another Universe.

    So why is everyone here on Earth?
    They are here to follow a particular pathway.

    To stick your head in the sand doesn't mean you don't need to follow a pathway, it just means it hasn't popped itself up to bite you yet -OR-
    It has popped up over and over again, and you either don't want to see, feel and hear the signs -OR-

    you have seen them and are refusing to do what you should do.

    If in fact your pathway has popped up to bite you, but you couldn't see it because your head was in the sand, then I suggest you call yourself a slow learner in this department and start asking your Higher Self to please call on the God who is supposed to help you and begin working with you. Ask to be shown how you should proceed. (I still believe the most direct route for this is with the use of a pendulum and an alphabet so they can tell you in sentences what they wish to tell you).

    If you saw the pathway but refused to follow it, then it is considered you have wasted your life and then all bets are off – your choices have become null and void and you may just very soon die, if it is considered, that you will probably never go on to a pathway.

    If you do ask to have the God who was supposed to help you, then everything starts to work better for you. In fact then your free choice increases because whoever works with you will do so with the God seeing to it that what you are asking for, as far as possible they will use to help you facilitate that which you came to do and be. So whatever you do, you will work for you more easily and get the right kind of results.

    If you hear, see or feel the God – it will be so much better.

    Your own needs become the God's own needs making is a much smoother journey to the God's in the Sky.

    Hi Cearna:

    I know what a pendulum is and how to use it. Is there a pattern to an alpha lay-out? What would one look like?

    Regarding dowsing, you can set up your own system.
    E.g.; I you won't to find the first letter of a word, check if it is in the first half of the alphabet or the later to save time and so on.
    If you won't to dowse someones time of birth, start with am or pm, then midnight to 3am and so on till brake it down to the hour, using the same principals down to the minuet.
    Back to the first part checking if the next letter is a vowel or consonant helps to.
    Dowsing over maps is useful to.
    I came up with an area that I might live in and thought nothing more about it, as I was not planning on moving or had contacts in the area, as it happens I will be moving quite close to the spot.

    Hi Sparky, the one I was taught was to put on one page. Use letters large enough for the pendulum to swing over.(I use 2-3 lines for each).

    Leave a space in between all letters so that the pendulum swings easily.

    I set out thusly :-

    A B C D

    E F G H

    I J K L

    M N O P

    Q R S T

    U V W X

    Y Z

    Start at A if a yes it is either the A or B,C, or D so go across till you get a yes you need separate pencil and paper to write the words down.

    If nothing on that line Go to E, if a no at the E, go to the I, same thing and then to the M, if a yes at any of those then go across that line, and so on till you build up the message. I would be asking the Higher Self to answer rather than yourself.

    After a while you can learn short cuts, according to how they find it easier for you. Ivan uses wording quite unusual, I don't know if to P*** me off, because sometime he wants me just to listen, but I like this because I can see and think at the same time, rather than having to strain a bit to hear. Often you become so good, that you will in fact start hearing or anticipating what is coming next. Also you have the written word there, because by listening the words can come too fast and you begin to forget the beginning of the message. Have fun!!!!!

    I think we have been down this road before.
    Anyway what I am missing from you post is the question. What is the intended outcome of a Pathway.

    In my first few months into this quest for silence we talked a bit on the establishing of focus. The keeping in mind of a goal if you will.
    At this point in time I have come to yet agin a path. One that has been pointed out to me before, which I then concluded to be an inferiour Path as it excluded(in my mind back then) the glory and devotional imigary I was so desperately longing for.(Not to be devoted to, but be a devotee myself.)

    The Path before me (Lets call it buddhism) is a path that promisses the way out of Dhukka. (using dhukka here as it means so much more then the english translations of suffering or unsatisfactoriness)

    So to choose a seemingly Godless Path. Would that be considered a Path in your understanding?

    The use of a pendulum is not an option for me at this time, I have followed the swing of the pendulum without discernment for a while way back when. Didn't turn out all that good and cost me a few years to recover from.(personal experiental mind talking, NOT condemning the use of pendulums what so ever)

    Eelco, yes we went down this path before and I felt it is what is so confusing to many, and since I found this piece of it I hoped to be able to get some sort of ideas going from us all. Yours, is great, because you have worked so hard for a long time and it will be a good start for us all.

    What is the intended end of a Pathway?


    many want to think it's not so hard to come down, find a role of some sort, safety, comfort and a special family to live for. These surely are what we find on Earth, but to not realise what you are coming especially to Earth for, makes everything so much more dificult for everyone, especially yourself.

    To open the topic to everyone - the purpose for a Pathway, is so you will gain more knowledge, mostly of who you are Wonder Why?


    You cannot know the past, of all you've prepared yourself for. You wont realise just what a wondrous person you've been, till it's pointed to you, plain as day, for most think I'm just beginning to find my way, and I have so much more to seek out, till I'm perfect. In essence, you were created perfect, so to seek perfection is not what you come each time to do, you are only in a time capsule, each lifetime, so you won't realise perfection in one lifetime till you realise that you were perfect before you began. Very soon life becomes the fears you draw to yourself, followed soon after by your own self determination to do what someone else wants you to do.

    As you get older, jobs begin to take a needful place in your life, until 28 years old when your Saturn return spills all hell let loose on you, and some will become aware of a lack of purpose in your life, unless you found risks of all sorts, to suddenly stop you from being a role model, trying to get to the top of whatever you are into, and missing open invitations from your Higher Self to look see at self awareness from a whole new standpoint, that has never been tried by you before.

    There are infinite ways yourself can grow, by opening to new pastures, not necessarily green ones, but from needing to gain insights into some field of endeavour. Mostly you will go into something you like the look of, but think of how especially good it would be, to seek inside into your own self, for not the best or most real life mysteries of all, but to seek Life as you've never tried it before - that's what your Sabbatical was for you. You wouldn't have chosen Buddhism if it had been a favourite of yours, it wasn't part of this life, so you are on a quest to feel, see and hear, what it has been for you to feel, see and hear from what happened to you. It was a religious base from which to find complexities your self hadn't thought to need to find and that's what the most perfect Pathway can lead to. You get out it what you put into it. If you realise some more sorts of things which lead you on to some other proposal to lead into, then thats the next phase of this pathway this time round.

    If it leads to someone else, finding some new ways to get to something else, then you have overcome some of the first levels of life, as what the levels are for, is to lead on to loving in its fullness, which means you have some one else to love enough to forgo your own need to learn and allow their growth to be your own in love fully realised.

    There is a book out by Jack Kornfield called a Path with heart.

    The main question to ask yourself before going on a Path is does this path have a heart.
    Wheter a religious undertaking, a spiritual walk of life or even an atheistic one where personal strength of people can be acknowledged.
    All seem to aply.

    Just figure out what it is you know you hold dear in your heart and will the Path you choose respect and cultivate this inner knowing.
    Such a simple question, but when asked and answered truthfully I think many mishaps and sorrow would be eliminated right then and there...
