Here's their (excellent) lockdown rendition of a Journey song ─ 1980s-era fake mustaches and wigs included.

I actually prefer this rendition over the original. Rudy's voice is very similar to that of Journey singer Steve Perry and Pete's solo is virtually identical to that of Journey guitarist Neal Schon, but the guitar riff sounds heavier, possibly because Journey has only one guitarist, while The Classic Rock Show has two. The two-note fifth-fret harmonics in the main riff also stand out better, and Jess' voice makes the whole vocal section of the chorus much richer-sounding.

My post was medieval and renaissance music. So here are the Baebes at my favorite venue instead.

I love the sounds of summer, virtually I can see the insects flying past me. We are getting there. I'm guarding two hibernating butterflies through winter this time, and it is soon time to wake up. They are this type:

We have those here too in Finland during the summer, Aglais io. They look like as if they would have four eyes.

    What a beautiful butterfly.

It reminded me of the painted lady which has spots on the underside of the wings.

I saw a couple of these so far this spring.

What's the best Ozzy cover band? (don't mean to be heretical)

Soussan later on left the band and went on to play with (among others) Ozzy. When he started playing "Shot In The Dark" at a rehearsal, Ozzy thought that Soussan had written the song himself, but he didn't like the lyrics and he changed them.

Meanwhile, Steve Overland and Ozzy have come to an agreement regarding the song ─ neither made any problem out of the other one playing their version of the song, and I believe Ozzy has financially compensated Steve Overland for having had such a success with a song Steve had written but had never received any royalties for.

The version below is the original by FM.
