All i can say is wow

No one person can ever change the truth, but the truth, once learned, can and will change the person

You must be the change you wish to see in the world when you are through changing, you are through

This is not for the faint of ear...I'm not a big fan of metal rock but this one is melodic...That is some of the coolest music...

A fantastic and somewhat underrated, yet prolific session musician and songwriter, and arguably one of the greatest singing voices of the 1970s, '80s and '90s.

I don't remember whether I've ever posted this here, but if so, then it's worth a re-post.

When I woke up this morning
    I found myself alone
I turned to touch her hair
But she was gone, she was gone

    And there beside my pillow
Were her tears from the night before
She said: "Give up your guns and face the law"

I robbed a bank in Tampa
And I thought I had it made
But the hounds picked up my trail within the glades
    So I ran

And I stumbled on this cabin
And she came to me once more
She said: "Give up your guns and face the law"

    I don't wanna leave her
    I don't wanna die
Deep within a cold, cold grave
    With no-one 'round to cry

    But I've got my pistol
    Now it's time to choose
    Shooting here or hanging there
    And either way I lose

And now I'm in this cabin
Where my own true love should be
Instead there lies a note she wrote to me
    And it says:

"No, you can't live by the bullet
But you sure as death can die
My love, give up your guns or say goodbye, goodbye"

And the sheriff now is calling
With his shotgun at my door:
"Son, give up your guns and face the law"

He was never a member of the Eagles, but you're not too far off the mark. He was once a member of The Doobie Brothers, for whom he wrote and sang "What A Fool Believes", and he was also once a member of Steely Dan, for whom he wrote and sang "Minute By Minute". He later on also performed the piano part on the instrumental version of the song by guitarist Larry Carlton, who himself had also been a member of Steely Dan at some point.

Other than that, he also sings backing vocals and plays piano on several records by Christopher Cross — e.g. "All Right", "Ride Like The Wind" and "No Time For Talk" — and he did the backing vocals on Toto's "I'll Be Over You", as well as a couple of duets such as "Yah Mo B There" (with James Ingram) and "On My Own" (with Patti Labelle). His song "Sweet Freedom" was also used for the official soundtrack of the movie "Running Scared", and he's had various other chart successes in his own title.

Like I said, a prolific artist, with a very distinct voice and a very recognizable keyboard/piano style.

In honor of the caterpillars turning into butterflies.

I just love the look and the colors in this video which bloom as the metamorphosis takes place.
