Pharrell got in trouble with that one due to lifting a bit too much from Marvin Gaye. That and his song with Robin Thicke.

Sometimes music is troublesome in its copyright issues.

Some real lounge music for ya ...

Recalling it was back in 92 in old DC, that i finally caught up with this great guy ...

Many in the Warner Theater audience having heard the song over the years on

the radio, had no idea (till that evening) he was a fair skinned boy -

With a lot of soul !

    Bobby Caldwell

"What You Won't Do for Love"

"What You Won't Do for Love" is a quiet storm single written by Alfons Kettner along with musician and singer Bobby Caldwell, which Caldwell recorded for his debut album What You Won't Do for Love, released in 1978 on the TK Records label. The album was originally released as Bobby Caldwell, but the song's popularity led to the album's name being changed to that of the song.

    Roger Whittaker - Finnish Whistler

Forget the music...just listen to the whistling. This guy knows how to:

Whatever is true. Whatever is noble. Whatever is right. Whatever is lovely. Whatever is admirable. Anything of excellence and worthy of praise. Dwell on these things. Jesus Christ (I agree)

I cannot whistle well. Barely five notes. I have much admiration for those who are good at it.

Yes, I know. I first heard that song a long time ago, always liked it. Daft Punk was nice too, although a bit more mainstream.

Their Discovery album was a work of art, though. And by the way, even though the repeating riff in the Stardust song was played on real instruments, it was copied from a song by Chaka Khan.

Interesting. I do have two Daft Punk albums on vinyl, Discovery being one of them.
