I'm curious is her name just coincidence to the Finnish word. I could always listen to her for hours. Beautiful woman, super sexy voice, a cut above in style and grace. Yup something else, for sure.

It is not her real name, and she probably chose it because of her roots — she was born in Nigeria.

That was actually my question, I thought maybe she was mixed-race and had ties with Finland. My other thought was that she was into bondage and identified with Marquis de Sade

According to Wikipedia, her name is Helen Folasade Adu CBE. So her actual middle name is where her stage name — actually, her band's name, which she has adopted as her own — comes from. The CBE stands for "Commander in the Order of the British Empire", a high rank of nobility/knighthood assigned to her by Queen Elizabeth II.

As for her sexual habits, you'll have to ask her yourself.
