Will the low hold? Does it matter? We face food issues. How far will they take the restrictions? I know people that are saying no to going into work. Their argument air tight. You going to tell them they are wrong?

I have information saying trucking is effected. Union worked calling off work. This is one instance but it is a great question if this will effect transportation? The company I refer distributes food. I think Walmart has there own trucks and drivers. What happens if the trucks reduce deliveries?

It is anyone’s guess so the Italian template is key.

Just saw an article we have 1.8 million truck drivers who can’t work from home. If deliveries are disrupted there will be shortages. Wait and see...

Interesting article CNBC Britain’s PM isn’t doing enough locking down. Article claims it’s the public demanding (reaction) for restrictions.

At the rate the Italian template is being applied its forecasting a longer time frame. It is being applied slowly. All of this will be used to polish the new legislation coming.

The futures are bouncing and it’s hard to say what will happen next. Food is a big thing. Think about it. This continues and what will you eat? I’m thinking pizza will do ok. But what about the stores?

I’ve never lived under this much control. It’s an unknown.

How could it be under control when Trump was calling it a hoax, refusing test kits, refusing a test himself, failing to support vaccine development, and rubbing elbows with infected folks at Mara Lago?

Is this an example of facts you don't look at for the sake of not 'bashing' Trump?

It's not the end, Orbs. It is however going to get bigger for a while still, and it's going to radically transform things due to more people now working from home by way of the internet ─ something that will probably persist after the crisis is over, because why would you go back to the office if you can do the same job from within your own home, right? And this in turn will have repercussions on the amount of traffic you see on the roads, and thus also on the public transport sector.

The lockdowns in the many countries are also going to transform the economy. In what way, I don't know. But it is a given that many companies ─ mostly smaller shops ─ will be filing for bankruptcy after the crisis because they could no longer open for their customers during the lockdown.

Governments may decide to partly bail out some companies or sectors ─ here in Belgium, the government has already made certain fiscal concessions towards cafés and restaurants, because they were the first businesses to suffer in the pre-lockdown of last week ─ and this time it won't be the banks that run away with taxpayer money. And so what you'd get then is essentially a rather pure form of socialism ─ which is not a bad thing in my opinion, provided that the government is being led by competent and honest people.

On the other hand, it is also entirely possible that the banks would suddenly throw themselves up as "saviors" by buying up all failing businesses ─ the banks certainly have the financial horsepower to do that ─ which would result in a completely privatized economy, whereby ultimately the bigger banks will continue buying out the smaller banks, just as they have been doing all along, but this time also becoming the owners of a great number of businesses in the non-financial sectors in the process. And what you'd get then is corporate fascism.

So basically, it looks like this crisis is going to further polarize the social-economical system, whether it be to the left or whether it be to the right. But things are going to change, Orbs, and whatever the changes are, they'll be significant. Whether it'll be for the better or for the worse, that is something that still remains to be seen. But don't give up on your hope. Maybe in the end it will all turn out an improvement to the way society operates?

Deadlines are being expanded here. Schools closing for 6 weeks for example instead of 2. Disruptions until August.

Looks like stocks want yo break 20,000. All rallies sold which is a bear trend. It’s deflation. Everything but food is getting marked down. If they make us all stay home for 2 weeks I think it will crush a lot of people. What’s odd is you won’t be able to go out fishing or into the woods, etc. unless you live their now.

Country living just became more valuable. Living on a stream or in the Forrest is valuable in a quarantine. You can go for a walk and nobody will see you. Except for the surveillance drones. But chasing you down won’t be worth it.

Stocks don’t want to rally. They have not found a bottom and when they do it will be very difficult to catch. Chris write about the 2008-9 deal was deliberate. I think he was right. Now it looks like this is as well.

The auto makers in the USA shut down. Government at all levels is grabbing the spotlight and jumping on the band wagon. It’s vogue to curtail freedoms.

It’s hard to say what will happen. I don’t know why they will stop. Inch by inch. How can they stop you from leaving your home is a bit hard to take when you look at all the businesses that need attention. Wil they let you drive to your closed business? I don’t know.

I don’t think this is over. I’m sure most would agree.
