There is as yet no legally accepted evidence that Putin had anything to do with the 2016 US elections. There is however sufficient evidence that the USA have been interfering with elections and internal affairs in just about every other nation on the planet; and have even engaged in contract killings on behalf of certain governments and regimes ─ primarily colonialist and pro-fascist ones.
- Patrice Lumumba, the first democratically elected and socialist prime minister of the Republic of Congo was assassinated by the CIA for the Belgian government, who were not happy with Congo's independence. Lumumba was then replaced by dictator Mobutu Sese Seko, who was in league with the Belgian colonialists.
- Ernesto "Che" Guevara, the socialist revolutionary who led the Cuban revolution with Fidel Castro against the CIA-sponsored fascist dictator Fulgencio Batista, was assassinated in his prison cell in Argentina by a CIA operative.
- Operation Gladio was a CIA stay-behind sleeper agent network in Europe during the (first) Cold War for in the event that the Soviet Union were to invade Western Europe. They were linked to several right-wing terrorist attacks in Italy, former Yugoslavia and other nations, and they were also suspected ─ albeit unproven, given how the investigation had been sabotaged from day one and has remained ongoing for over 30 years now ─ to have been involved with, if not behind, the Brabant Killers here in Belgium.
- The social unrest and political turmoil of late in Venezuela and other South American countries is the result of US intervention ─ first under Bush, then under Obama, and now under Trump ─ as exposed by Abby Martin.
- ....
I therefore think it's a little unfair to now blame the Russians ─ again, without that as yet any evidence has been been provided ─ of interference in the 2016 elections, and especially given that the USA has been doing that very same thing all over the world ever since World War II.
What goes around, comes around, remember?
