IMHO they have both abilities. I also think they have the ability to mess with our perception and/or can either project a screen type visual to disguise themselves, maybe into our minds, or into the space around them like a hologram. I remember reading one BFRO report where a family was having ongoing activity around there house. The young daughter was able to "see" the Sasquatch and the mother could not. The girl said, "they can make themselves look like trees."
From what I have read, the Sasquatch can see the infra-red "eye" on cameras and will avoid them.

Great video, could go a long way in explaining the "cloaking" effect I and others have both witnessed with our eyes and captured on video.
I also wonder is this contributes to the "blurring" of photos and videos?
I have experienced it and many others. I will receive a "blobsqautch" photo and the person sending it to me will swear,
"I could see it clearly with the naked eye, but when I took the picture the Bigfoot was all blurry"

well, from what I've gathered, at first mike wanted the photo of the century -- full frontal, nothing ambiguous.
later, he realized they would not allow that, but began interacting with him, through gifts and audio.
ultimately, I'm not sure mike knows what his goal is. one thing's for sure, he want in -- into the sasquatch world, come what may.
in our interview with him, we asked: if allowed to enter their interdimensional 'realm,' would he go.
his answer: yes.
