Cramming is right! I'd give anything to have all this information downloaded into my head. Even more so, I wish I could offer the same to those reading this thread. The difficulty in sharing this story is you have to have a knowledge base to follow as there are many details one should be familiar with which is why I have gone through great pains to lay everything out in a specific order. I'm sure I've lost some who can't remember all the specifics and I completely understand why. I am equally buried in books, numerous website links and countless videos of interest. It's difficult to navigate through a sea of resources and not miss significant clues. I feel like I'm having to re-learn everything, all the way down to what I eat! It's impossible to keep up so I try and do my best. I feel your pain!
You know this article made me laugh because Scotland is hardly free so I found the content to be ironic. Then I scrolled down to read a savvy viewer's comment made at the end and it stated in more clarity probably what most Scots have come to know and feel:
"ROBERT the Bruce is said to have won Scotland's freedom at Bannockburn, but an earlier victory against unbelievable odds may have been just as important in keeping the Scots from becoming slaves of the English crown."
Since when did The Scotsman give a toss about Scotland's freedom? You actively campaign to keep Scotland subject to an English Parliament, where of 650 seats 533 are representing the best interests of English constituencies, with just 59 from Scotland. And where the party of government is decided by the English electorate, even if every vote in Scotland were cast for the same alternative - as GE15 demonstrated."- Viewer in the comment section
