    Homeschooling

    Hello everyone ,
I have made the decision to homeschool my son who is 10 , if anyone has any experience in this please share your story , ideas , how you structure your day or dont . its a big decision but was very easy to make after changing schools twice and and two separate issues not being resolvable , both issues being forms of bullying !!

so as I roll my sleeves up and crack on with it , I pray I can do my son right he is awesome and way beyond wise and has huge amounts of compassion and care , I just wish he could have experienced this from others

    anyways thanks in advance !

    OOOOOH ! Brilliant move !

    wooow !

    Ok where to begin
    e for
Children are creators in the primary scence , so childrean being curious and mostly un guarded will actually educate us , if we sllow them.

The connection to the child is key when teaching , creating trust bonds and allowance for a situational forum for definitey regimented times of the day for learning.

IE its a good habit to create a time table for the syllabus which usually is created as it goes along. Home schoolinjg is good like that because it caters for growth and realisation as opposed to rigid subjects.

Children need bias towards gravitating to their likes. They will eventually create the syllabus for you. There should be a class dedicated to Both Teacher and Student learning in tandem. Like taking painting classes together for eg.

Language should be a must , i cannot stress enough the importance of learning good english as well as a difficult language like Polish or German. Knowing 2 languages expands the thiniing spheres into cultural narratives. This creates an exponential understanding curve in emotional intelligence,

Some basic mathematics would be good.

Magic classes which are fun is great for both.

Dicipline and martial arts is fantastic for confidsence and coordination, alternatively dancing classes does the same thing.

A time table is a must and the child must know its important to regiment this to take it seriously if you want to go that way .. you may want it to be more organic but there should be some set times where calss is in session.

hmmm ill think up some more , from memory i liked being hoime schooled.

Do you want the experience only of homeschooling parents, or also those who were themselves homeschooled?

I wish I had done the same.
Best thing you could have done for your child.
I hope you have a library near you, now that you are "teaching" you have a higher degree of access to books that you can order and also you will not have the same time restraints to get books back on time.
    Kudos to you.

I agree. I think you'll need some books and prepare a curriculum.

the library should have most of that.

here's a link that may get you going.

homeschooling needs to sync-up with your province, etc. requirements.
it could be complicated to figure out at first.

perhaps hire someone to drop by a couple hours a day until you catch on?
learn from this hs expert / teacher?

    more power to you, tribe.

you are a responsible person who wants the best for your child.
to do it right, preparations will be required for the long run.
