Wow Calz, I don't know where I have been, but I have not seen this before. Not sure it actually made me laugh though. And I truly don't have the guts to share this on my face-book either. Not because of the government, but because I have mostly family on there and they might not let me see the grand kids anymore. I will share it with my husband tonite though. It was kind of a creative masterpiece.

    Hi Spiritwind

I expect I have posted it a dozen times between a few forums.

Have you ever seen the movie "They Live"??? Goes back a few years now.

That is where he is getting the sunglass thing ... highly suggest you try finding it if not.

Hear you loud and clear regarding family members. I could go there but I have been doing too much dribbling on about personal matters already.

I think your hubby will love it.

Oh yes, They Live is one of my husbands all time favorite movies. That one and Mars Attack, LOL. I guess it would be funnier except its a bit too close if you know what I mean. I guess we all need to be there for our loved ones when at least some of them wake up. It's easy to look the other way until it's directly in your face, which I am certain is just around the corner. Unfortunately, I also think some will die clinging tightly to their beliefs, no matter how far from the reality they see in front of them is. I know I'm on the edge of my seat these days.

PS - I don't get to watch a lot of posted videos because we have a limited monthly allotment of giga bites. So, I miss a lot.

If the movie is one of his favs then he will love Freeman's vid for sure.

Laughing at life may well be the only thing out there to keep us sane sometimes ... at least some of us.

Family, friends or others that don't get it??? Hey ... that's cool too. We keep coming back until we do.

Life is just a ride ...

To hear an alzheimers patient sing each and every word to a song when they can't even remember who they are is life affirming...a moment of clarity for them...a precious smile...a gift both given and received. When you can touch a person's life, even for a brief ten minutes or so, it brings such joy to both the listener and the performer.

I teach yoga and relaxation techniques to Alzheimers patients and have watched them bloom with joy when they are able to relax and sing with the accompanying music. I have even seen some of them memorize the words to Longtime Sun, the beautiful song that we end each class with.....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5tJvY_P9vg

You might think that to be an impossibility, but it's not because the music touches their hearts...and they remember.

So I offer this song to be included here on the Attitude Adjustment thread. May the longtime sun shine upon all of us.

Fascinating ... thank you for sharing that.

My father suffered for many years before succumbing to alzheimers.

Amazing Calz, and thanks for bringing it to my attention but I know I couldn't handle more than a few minutes of that kind of emotional fright stuff they wiggle in front of us like sex in a tight fitting red V shaped crotch with those shows.

It leaves me asking angry pointed questions about what the hell the producers think they are playing at while the world goes down the tubes. Do they really think this stuff could go full circle and join up right back at the beginning where the right stuff is expressed in this vivid media style? or are they taking the pee, someone tell me.

Little darlin' don't you see the sun is shining
    Just for you, only today
If you hurry you can get a ray on you
Come with me, just to play

Like every humming bird and bumblebee
Every sunflower, cloud and every tree, I feel so much a part of this
Nature's got me high and it's beautiful
I'm with this deep eternal universe from death until rebirth

This corner of the earth is like me in many ways
I can sit for hours here and watch the emerald feathers play
On the face of it I'm blessed when the sunlight comes for free
I know this corner of the earth it smiles at me

So inspired of that there's nothing left to do or say
Think I'll dream, 'til the stars shine
The wind it whispers and the clouds don't seem to care
And I know inside that it's all mine

It's the chorus of the breakin' dawn
The mist that comes before the sun is born to a hazy afternoon in May
Nature's got me high and it's so beautiful
I'm with this deep eternal universe from death until rebirth

You know that this corner of the earth is like me in many ways
I can sit for hours here and watch the emerald feathers play
On the face of it I'm blessed when the sunlight comes for free
I know this corner of the earth it smiles at me

I know this corner of the earth it smiles at me
Hey, I know this corner of the earth it smiles at me
I know this corner of the earth it smiles at me

This corner of the earth, is like me in many ways
I can sit for hours here and watch the emerald feathers play
On the face of it I'm blessed when the sunlight comes for free
I know this corner of the earth it smiles at me
