    Poignant People

So much can be derived from listening to the information from good interviews with people who are poignant to our culture =. Therese are clearly people who from our own pont of views deliver a point of difference in their essence. What a better way to feel inspired and do good things.

Id like to kick off with one of my most favorite people , Gene Wilder. not only the person but also the interviewer have poise and honesty. PLease enjoy and by all means if you feel you have a good one to add , do so.

One of my most adored modern day philosophers who speaks with such conviction Ayn Rand , spiritually i dont agree with her entirely, however she makes some extrodinary points which i like because they get us thinking in critical terms , this is the very essence of changing mental matrix' by disrupting social stereotypes of mental constructs.

    please enjoy

    What a wonderful thread Nanu!

Here is one of my personal favourites by Stephen Fry, debating the Catholic Church whereupon he smashes the opposition with eloquence.

Nanu, after getting off to a fairly shaky start with each other, finally we have a meeting point between us, lol..

I have read all Ayn Rand's books, biographies, her plays etc. Albeit a long time ago.

I really look forward to watching this video. Thanks.

Loved that presentation from Stephen Fry , thank you , what i enjoy in these communications are the succinct manner at which they encapsulate the message . its like you are being cornered with intelligence and its impossible not to agree.

Here is one from one of my favorite musical producers George Martin , possibly one of the most influencial in modern music. I am actually very jelous at his genius in being able to produce an album like Seargent Pepper on only 4 track reel to reel ... for those of you who know what producing on a 4 track takes , the music he managed to get down and the musicality he introduced while managing absolute cutting edge effects and imagination is mind boggling.

I particularly enjoy his engloish mattere of fact demeanour , the guy has no edge to him yet is so intense in his delivery , quite an interesting human matrix.

    please enjoy

Thank you Sooz , we are both intense and valuable , like everyone here in their own way is truly caring about who we are and what we are experiencing. I think its good to experience special and isnpirational information and find common strains which connect us in spirit. I particularly enjoy Ayn Rand because of her seemingly logical left brain personality yet she is so deeply passionate and generous. Its important material imo and i loved Donahue's delivery and manner , that makes the interview special as well. its contravercial , it gets you involved and most importantly it gets you thinking and evolving which is what i particularly enjoy.

    Hugs to you Sooz xoxo

Mark Ruffalo really gets my attention not only when he acts but when he speaks as a person. I like his humanity.

    The Matilda Roswell Interviews.

One of my favorite interviews is the alleged interview with one of the survivor ET 's from the Roswell crash. Yes i do know this interview is contraversial as being fake or doctored. I have a soft spot for these interviews not because i believe but because the information is intelligent and plausible. The information scores points for me as it is uncannily similar to knowings i have felt and been part of and they score high on my meter as important.

What i really need to point out is information to me is not something i will base faith on , this is something only my own very essence can touch or negotiate. The information that can change my faith is heavily scutinised and tested before ill take it on as plausible, even then it has to withstand the rigours of being intelligent and useful. If for example someone wrote a story that was a hoax however it was very intelligently written , almost as though it could have been written by an Et for example then to me the information is still useful. It is common many Humans stage ET or Ascended Master Chanellings for their own material to give it weight in the eyes of readers. This is a reaction to the requirements of audiences, not all but a great majority want it to be from a super being before they put all of their faith in it .. so the tinsle sometimes has too much influence over the content and presentation.

This presentation is good, the parralells as i mentioned earlier are why i feel its important. These paralells are very real to me and hearing them articulated intelligently saves me having to write all this stuff lol

I hope you enjoy this as much as i did.

Really enjoyed the Ayn Rand interview with Donahue. It was fascinating viewing, and the first time I'd really encountered her.

I found myself agreeing with a lot of what she had to say. I liked her focus on the individual. It reminded me of Carl Jung and his work, The Undiscovered Self.

But I think her definition of rational self-interest might be a bit too narrow.

After all, what could be more rationally self-interested than wanting to create a society free of hunger and poverty, with humane treatment for all people?

That benefits any rationally self-interested person- even any rationally selfish person. One doesn't need to be selfless to see the value in providing for others.

I like her call to achieve individual greatness by pursuing one's own goals.... but what about people who achieve said greatness through self-sacrifice and through working exclusively to the benefit of others?

There doesn't seem to be much room in her philosophy for them.

Jesus, Mother Theresa, Ghandi and MLK weren't exactly working just to feather their own nests, were they? And yet they achieved individual greatness.

Anyway, I liked her, and what she had to say. I'm going to explore her further, read her books and watch her lectures.

To honour my dear friend Spock. this is not an interview but rather a beautifully presented record of his humour ... such a beautiful example of man.
