A brain in a supercomputer, Henry Markram

Henry Markram TED talk, about constructing a digitized version of the human brain, they have given this fellow a billion dollar budget to build it.

Strictly the mechanics of course, there is however an interesting comment on how it is not possible to have interspecies communications, then why has my former cat convinced me of the opposite would be my question ( and do you remember that video of the lady who talks to animals Anna Breytenbach?), but hey, this is strictly about the mechanics of the issue, and not about the possibilities of the qualities of consciousness, the end conclusion of the talk is however interesting, is the brain able to see its self, what leads for me to the question, what else would it be able to see, besides the obvious visions in the audiovisual spectrum and across space time ( deja vu for instance).

Anywho, here it is, git yer phreak on here, some schweeeet graphical representations of synapses included.
