I always loved this song, thanks for posting it. To my daughter, it is the song she loves thinking of her son.

Here's an ESC song our American brethren may have heard of. It's "Glorious", Cascada's entry representing Germany in ESC 2013

    Cascada — Glorious

    Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y77A9-hQAp0

    Tonight we can be glorious
We are young at heart and we’re free
The world is ours, I can feel the music in me
Glorious, found a love that eyes cannot see
Delirious, I can feel the music in me

    Rare Historical Photos In Color

To All My Ancestors... Thank you.

    http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=aac_1392197830

Here is a presentation of a number of old black and white photos. The creator explains that the photos came from Life magazine, Library of Congress, Shorpy and National Geographic.

Additional information: "The text of the song entitled 'Kilkelly Ireland', penned by American song writer Peter Jones, whose great, great grandfather was John Hunt, from the general Kilkelly area. Back in the late 1970s or early 1980s, Peter found a box of old letters in the attic of his parents home in America. These were a series of letters written between 1860 - 1890, to John Hunt by his parents from their home in Kilkelly in Ireland. The letters chronicled family news of births, deaths, marriages and were written on behalf of the parents by local schoolmaster Pat McNamara. It shows the difficulties many families and our ancestors experienced when they immigrated to the U.S. I would suggest you watch it on full screen, if you don't want to miss out some details. Enjoy it."

A song in 2 parts. listen to them both
I am fishhead comes to mind

    ----
    Oh classic gentlemen
    Say your prayers
    To the wind, of prostitution
To your faces, and Rex complexes
    Riddle my breast
    Full of the oppressed puss

    Oh gentlemen, with your fish
    The you surround, all around
And you man, will always point
    Your fishes, at me

    But I will always exist
    Because I always exist
    Damn good too

    The rat race begins
    The fat face stings
I hold the fresh pink baby
    With a smile
I slice off those rosy cheeks
    Because I feel so thirsty
    -----
    Oh gentlemen
    Swallow your prayers
Because the wind makes a mockery of men
    Your soul becomes a fish
    You swim in idle waters
    And drink other fishes ****
    Your soul feeds on fish
    On ****, puss and men
Who in turn, become as you have become
    A fish
No, not even that, but a symbol of fish
Hooked by the baby flesh of maggots
A ripple of life in tin
This tin could become your world too
So choose between this and water
    Choose between tin and ****
Do you still feel thirsty now
    Are you thirsty now
    Are you thirsty now
    Do you still feel
    Thirsty
    Thirsty now
    ---------

    With Love

Pretty sure I posted this before "last time" ... or perhaps even this time tho I am too lazy and time restricted to verify.

Those pesky in between life memory wipers are too damn good yes???
