It seems to me it would be good for us to learn to live our lives and then exit as and when we choose. But I don't mean physical suicide. I mean deliberately departing from the body. There would be a family ritual/ceremony and the person would move on. The body would be treated with appropriate reverence.

Of course we're currently in no spiritual place for that.

    Something to aspire to.

From what I understand of agreements made between souls of our ‘higher selves’ this is already happening. The funeral is the gathering.

...that said, I don’t like the system in place either...frankly, my higher self and I are going to have a tough discussion about ‘the rules’ on this next ‘turnover’...then I’ll move on to whoever is running this worldly/galactic clown car and give him/her/it a piece of my mind.

You'll have to stand in line and wait for your turn, Bro.

With my short attention span, I’d soon get bored and wander off. How ‘bout you and me tag-team them? We’ll have galactic cage match. I’ll wear my cape: :batman

Here's an idea: we lay the "good cop, bad cop" routine on them.

    The Red and the Black.

To exit the body we would do just that. Like an NDE or astral type travel, but permanent. I'm pretty sure the body would die once the conscious life essence moves on.

My God, if someone is so willing to face the ultimate question, why should any of us 'fear' it.

Normally, there are protracted indications that someone's head is in a very bad place. People need to pay attention to one another, especially loved ones.

Yes NAP, all true and after many years of threatening, my baby Brother was successful his first attempt, a few short years ago. We were close and hung together often so for me, my heart was broken but for him I was happy as he was finally at peace after many years of pain and misery due to addictions and PTSD.

Just a reminder that the "Can't You Hear Me Gnostic" live stream begins at 8 PM EST. An hour from this post.

That's sad Sandy, I know how you feel about there being an end to the pain, though...I've had close family members that made me feel exactly the same way.

    Hey Modwiz,

Nice prayer to start this video...I'm watching and listening and trying to understand what the 'essence' of your belief is. You mentioned the 'source'. What is your 'source'. It was actually kind of funny when you said you meditated on the emotional ambiance of the world. Painful, yes I'm certain of that...In fact, I think it is best to keep a healthy emotional distance between ourselves and the pain of the world...It has to be overwhelming. I stay away from experiencing the pain and focus on the hate...that is something that is safe to wish death to.

In an honest and true effort to 'understand you' I am curious about your parental relationships. Did you have a good relationship with both parents? Mine was miserable but it gave me a desire to see a better world...starting with parental/child relationships.

I feel that despite you being a very decent and caring person you have what I would consider 'demons' that create stumbling blocks on your spiritual road. I'm not any kind of knowledgeable spiritual guy despite having studied multiple philosophies, I just feel that to be the case. You are very sincere in your pursuit obviously.

I think it is somewhat of a misapprehension to think 'other' philosophies are 'shiftless' and have no source. For example, moral relativism is something that occurs but it is an individual failure to understand the essence of spirituality. One can experience a sense of 'latitude' regarding moral precepts but it doesn't by necessity imply a relativism. It is more of recognition that the only true judge of right and wrong is THE source and not anything less.

So Betinho just crapped out of Sedona and his last presentation is going to be either a repeat or by video from some undisclosed location. The energies in Sedona are not good, according to Mr. Massaro.

Good news for you, Dumpy. I bet it feels better there already.

Slow-dona is a very small town. Everyone who has been here awhile knows everyone else, and you tend to meet one another in Whole Foods, Bashas, or Natural Grocers shopping for your organics and beer. Not surprised he feels unsafe as there is a certain element of western justice among the older ‘where the hell did these vortex people come from and why did we let them take over our town?’ crowd.

Meanwhile the GF and I are driving around, lost in the wonderment of the incredible Red Rocks and trying not to smash into perplexed tourists who can barely navigate all the roundabouts on hwy 179.
