I don't see any such lines having been crossed in this BR/CG thing. Just lots of publicity for everyone. And some lessons on the horizon.
    Yeah...stand your ground, SISTER...it's OK!

Agreed. TargeT brought the 'goods' on the thorium reactor and Aianawa brought the voice of Spirit to covfefe.

No. Will catch up when the opportunity presents itself. Plenty of life in front of me.

I saw a billboard with the name Sam Hunt in big letters the night before you came back, Sam. I thought of you of course. Seems perfectly appropriate even though the 'er' was missing. (I don't know who Sam Hunt is)

Target mentioned something in passing back in 2014 and it led me to check out Galen Winsor.
Now this is a tad bit of a different rabbit hole than Thorium Reactors.
It begs the question why haven't we been using Thorium Reactors for decades? And this truly is an important question if you ponder it.
Winsor is doing this lecture circa 1980, and he was on the ground floor as far as nuclear reactors are concerned.
As crazy as it may seem Winsor lends credence to the idea that fissionable companents are far less deadly than all the warnings inform us.
Winsor talks about handling enriched uranium with his bare hands, no gloves or anything, he stated this was common practice in the early days.
Winsor also mentions swimming in the rod containment ponds, like they were swimming pools, and further backs this all up by showing a vile of uranium 8 that is setting off a Geiger counter he dumps the uranium 8 pellets into his hand which causes folks to gasp, and then after putting the pellets back in their container he shows the crowd at this engagement the uranium 8 dust still left on his hand, he then licks the dust off of his hand and says "no big deal". Pretty crazy!
And further, Winsor is of the opinion that the main reason for such an over extension in the stated dangers of nuclear power plant energy sources is because there are vested interests profiting from the handling and disposing of these elements.
You have to watch the video, it will in my opinion at least cause one to question one's assuredness on the topic.
Anyway TargeT came up with a brilliant idea as to why we haven't switched to Thorium Reactors, and that is that there very well may be exotic uses for the spent fuel rods of nuclear reactors that the powers that be are not telling us about.
I absolutely think there is a very high probability for this.
