at the end of this note is a link to a piece i wrote on my blog a couple years ago. i'm including that here so u can get a feel for how much i appreciate your purpose and the many ways you go about forwarding it's message. in particular, thru the TOT-casts you started recently. #5 is particularly spot on in emphasizing a collective intent toward personal empowerment and awareness on both the micro and macro layers of the cake. kudos to Modwiz and Geo for their passion and commitment toward the greater good. which brings me to the purpose of this note....

i could hear Modwiz just fine. Aianawa was a bit of a challenge due to the down under influence but I got most of it. on the other hand, Geo? the audio comes over like he's in a barrel so I can only get about half of what he's saying. 'n the wise man has a lot to say! the volume is fine but i have extreme difficulty making out his words. and i wanna hear what this man is saying!!

that said, i'm 73 'n u can imagine what that implies. i can imagine certain others may be able to hear him fine but some of us are not so blessed. i want to hear what all of you are saying enuf to consider plunking down a couple hundred bucks from my fixed income on high quality buds to see if that helps. meantime, i just wanted to say something to you about this to bring it to your attention in the hope that perhaps quality from Geo's end might be kicked up a notch or two without him having to spend bucks.

in closing, we are, from my pov, in the midst of the Great Untangling. TOT provides a front row seat to the greatest show on earth! and the heavens!! thank you for your service and please pass along my gratitude to your staff and contributors.

I was having an earache (in my left ear ) that evening and could not use my headset ...
My voice is not the best these days due to ongoing chronic sinus problems ...
So my apologies, but note i did use my headset for the latest #6 video.

First of all, I can only speak for myself here now, but in my experience, this kind of positive feedback is very rare, and I for one am very pleasantly surprised, as well as very grateful for the words of praise from Mr. Logan.

Now, on account of that sound problem with Gio's voice, I think it's probably down to the VoIP connection. I've seen (and heard) this thing before, even during televised or YouTube-uploaded interviews. It's probably related to static interference in combination with the digital compression algorithm. I'm not an audio specialist, but I have indeed noticed many compression artifacts in that particular video conference between Radagast, Gio and Vernon, and my guess is that it's because this was a transnational video conference — the distance does appear to play a role.

Lastly, I would like to say the following words to Mr. Logan himself...: Tom, if you're reading this — and I hope you are — then please feel free to join us here in the Shire, where Trollses and Orcses are kept very far away by the armies of Gondor, Arnor and Rohan.

And, once again, thank you for the very kind words.

Yes. TOT-cast is ear catching.

I noticed how muddy Gio sounded last week and knew it was mic related. With three of us it was going to work for one show. Last night when Gio said he could do the head set I knew it was needed. As was bringing attention to Malc asking for donations and encouraging people to help.

Sure enjoyed the good feedback.
