    explosion

    Hello everyone has anyone heard about the explosion on Mars? I was in Project Avalon earlier there is a video re massive explosion on Mars, has anybody seen it?

    The whole surface of Mars looks like it's been zapped by massive electrical discharges in the past. The way the 'valleys' look isn't really like water and wind erosion. It's more like a scaled up version of what something looks like after it's had a very high voltage zapped through it.

    Perhaps Mars has got a strong negative or positive charge that causes this sort of thing whenever a large body gets close enough.

    Ah well in that case its covered in the vid I posted, it's likely to be a camera effect type thing.

    Either that or a major discharge, but the guy who did the vid I posted is way more knowledgeable than BPearthwatch, thats for sure.

    Sounds like SOMETHING happened, they cut the live feed and changed the subject at NASA.

    As for what we've seen so far, it's inconclusive, to say the least. Cheap optics and 100km of atmosphere provide a LOT of internet excitement all the time. As SO says, stay calm and wait for more data.
