    Hawaiian Monk Seals plays with Green Sea Turtl

    Rare Hawaiian Monk Seals plays with Green Sea Turtle. Never seen before! 3.18.13 (part 2)


    No one i've talked with has ever seen this behavior before from a Hawaiian Monk Seal. I've seen them 'play' with puffer fish... but never a sea turtle. Both the monk seal and sea turtle are juveniles. This sighting was called into the NOAA Monk Seal Hotline on Maui and the video has been shared with them. If you see a monk seal on land please don't approach him/her and call 808-292-2372
