The two photographs of the marbles have their own unique signature.
I am no marble expert, but there are experts out there who may know where they originated from.

    very interesting, frances.
they appear to be the same pattern swirl and coloration.

wonder what google would yield with a search --
'marble patterns, era' or something like that?

btw: do those 'prints' look like actual full,
    appendage imprints or artwork, stamped
by hand, fingers -- like we did in kindergarden?

On closer inspection of the prints, hand and foot they don't look like they have had great weight placed on them.
More like a soft impression or a drawing.

    Frances.
I pointed that out to mike and he pretty much disregarded it.
when you're that close and all this stuff gets piled on, it's really
    easy to assume 1 + 1 = 2, but with what's he's into, not necessarily so.

it's like his short story about standing with the owner as they're pelted
with marbles, then an apple of the porch railing flies up hitting in the face.
mike picks it up, inspects it and takes a big bite and eats it.
what a crazy situation he's in.
easy to mistake symbols with all that playfulness and misdirection.
serious hopes he goes out, has beer and pizza for a well deserved respite.
    extra cheese : )

I'm glad you posted that, jimmer. Mitch is my only subscribed channel that will not alert me to new videos...adding to the strangeness.
I think Mitch should join Mike for some of that pizza.

You mentioned the playfulness going on up there in Ontario. I had thought the Nephatia impersonation of Ashantia (which it was), was eerily humorous. We don't really know for sure if there is even an Ashantia at all, right? I don't take M. Odom's word, for certain. Bit by bit, a few things Mike is open about, seems to be about taking it up a notch. In a good way??

I am constantly reminded of Ron Moorehead's words. His facebook page has endless comments from him through the past few years concerning the 'high strangeness' of Sas. Caution is the operative word.

    .
    hey samos,
at first I felt the same way -- the danger, bodily injury, death.
but mike seems to be a peace with all of that after all these months.
after the first thump to his head and his request not to do that again,
it never happened again. while playful and curious, they all seem to
be in a trusting situation. think about the trust involved in those
realm images. if they were playing him, setting him up, I don't
think any of that would have happened. for mike, any trepidation
or nerves seems to be -- what if it all ends? 'I don't want to mess this thing up.'
that's where his angst must be. with such an uncontrollable relationship,
mike is not in the driver's seat. he is a passenger on the ride of his life and he knows it.
he's a smart guy, so I'm confident he'll figure this wild thing out -- as he goes.
    rave on, mike.

I'm signing off. see you soon.

btw: you don't get mitch notices and was dropped from mike's subscription.
    google messes around too much.

Here is a video, I had long forgotten about Lori Simmons, a young woman who has become 'connected' to Sasquatch through her father's legacy research. He had spent a lifetime studying and communicating with them. After his passing, it appears the clan of Sas had a psychic/physical bond with her as well, although she had never previously been involved in research. Adam Davies (known expeditionist), teamed up with her for a research project and had some extreme activity, even gaining a night time photo at their campsite of a Sas going through their cooler. There are several interviews about this as well.

This video is a very good interview with her and make sure to listen starting at 30:00 for a great Sasquatch growl she captured on video while giving an on location (Washington State) interview. Actual growl is at 32:15 while walking towards some trees.

Also, I was going through more of the 'selfies' from Mike's recent video (before there are any more recalls : )
This one appears to be another eye photo. Bottom center, pupil and iris...

    listening to the interview now.
you could be right about that really fuzzy, dark, obscured eye.
I still think frances and your 'ultrasound' theory is genius stuff
and a deep find. impossible to be certain about many of the
selfie images, but it appears that's the intent, for now.

isn't it choice, tracking this deep inner-space story?

these marbles may be what's called, slags -- old, out-of-production.

    see what you think.

    Leighton Transitional Slags
"Leighton Transitional Slags are single pontil marbles attributed to manufacture by James Harvey Leighton.
Leighton, whose family had been in the glass industry for at least three generations,
first produced marbles at the Iowa City Flint Glass Manufacturing Company between 1880-1882.
Subsequently, he worked at a number of other American glassworks until settling in Akron along the Ohio River.
In this region he established a number of small glass companies, none of which appear to have survived more than a couple years.

At one of these factories, the J.H. Leighton & Company, which was in operation during the second half of the 1890s,
is probably the location where Leighton produced his marbles.
Working with more than 20 different glass colors (including what is popularly known as "oxblood"),
Leighton is believed to have been responsible for many or most of what are today referred to as "Ground Pontil Transitionals."
These marbles usually have a characteristic "nine"-shaped swirl on the pole opposite the pontil, with a "tail" wrapping around the marble to terminate at the pontil.
Most Leighton marbles contain oxblood, the invention of which is often credited to Leighton, though some German marbles with oxblood predating Leighton's work have been unearthed.

It should be noted that though most Ground Pontil Transitionals are attributed to manufacture in America by Leighton,
some have recently been dug from former glassworks sites in Lauscha, Germany,
suggesting that perhaps the technique for producing these marbles was picked up by Leighton and others by German artisans."

or is it called the 'corkscrew' Marble King, Inc. (1949-present)

"After 1975, Marble King ceased production of its true patch and ribbon Rainbows and switched over to a style that involved either two polar patches but no equatorial ribbons or a polar patch with an equatorial ribbon that covers only one side of the marble."

if this is the marble design, it's been out-of-production for over 30 years, it appears.

Good article about the marbles Jimmer, I was having a browse through some Google information myself.
I would love to see more of Mike's collection and the cottage owners.
Would not be surprised if there are older ones in that collection even ones from Europe.
Hope Mike puts some photos in his book of the collection.
