Posted this before, but it's such a fave of mine and I think of Spiral's (or maybe Caleb's)....

But it's a very special song for me. I hope you enjoy it.

(I think it got lost in the many resets and whatever!)

    Love Sooz

For Modz who is burning the midnight oil....

    Oooh, ooh (midnight owl),

'Let me introduce myself'. (Thought it better to plop in here rather than in the tent - might upset the purity there)

Ah, at least Modz is here.

I was starting to get concerned that electricity was cut off up there in the northern hemisphere.

What with the snow, floods and everything.

Here is Ozzy, Renee Geyer, singing 'Just the thought of you....

    brings me to my knees....'

Kiss the storm, dance on the moon...

Another special song for me, for valentines.

I used to listen to this on universal truth evolution blog talk radio, it was played when they had a coffee break.
I don't know why but liked listening to it.
Never heard it anywhere before, and took some finding.

God I love that song! And you're right, the video was a real treat for the eyes.

Here's a video for a song I love. It's a version that was recorded "au naturel", and so there is the occasional skewed note, but I think it lets in a degree of purity. The video features many English scenes. It's a song from an album released in 2013. I had a boyfriend who died many years before this song came out, but it always reminds me of him. He used to say "It doesn't matter where we go, if we're together, we're home." Maybe that inflates my estimation of the song, but I hope people will like it any way. People say "oh, you must have loved him" and I think "must have"? I do. Love doesn't stop just because life does.

The album version, which is printed with lyrics on the screen, is available here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EPNgq4ZRxKg

I'm a phoenix in the water
A fish that's learnt to fly
And I've always been a daughter
But feathers are meant for the sky
    So I'm wishing, wishing further
    For the excitement to arrive
It's just I'd rather be causing the chaos
Than laying at the sharp end of this knife

    With every small disaster
    I'll let the waters still
Take me away to some place real

'Cause they say home is where your heart is set in stone
Is where you go when you're alone
Is where you go to rest your bones
It's not just where you lay your head
It's not just where you make your bed
As long as we're together, does it matter where we go?
    Home

So when I'm ready to be bolder,
And my cuts have healed with time
Comfort will rest on my shoulder
And I'll bury my future behind
I'll always keep you with me
You'll be always on my mind
But there's a shining in the shadows
I'll never know unless I try

    With every small disaster
    I'll let the waters still
Take me away to some place real

'Cause they say home is where your heart is set in stone
Is where you go when you're alone
Is where you go to rest your bones
It's not just where you lay your head
It's not just where you make your bed
As long as we're together, does it matter where we go?
    Home

'Cause they say home is where your heart is set in stone
Is where you go when you're alone
Is where you go to rest your bones
It's not just where you lay your head

As threatened, I was going to post this in the tent, but thought it may upset the equilibrium.

Go the mighty Tex Perkins from Cruel Sea (iconic Aussie band).

Friday night here - had a frightful day, only loud music and Spag Bol is going to save the day...

Enjoy! It's only worth listening to if it's turned up LOUD! OK?

    Mmmm...having problems posting the vid.

Nup, not working, having a blonde/grey moment.

So loud, unruly music is allowed in the tent?
