Quite frankly, we do not know what real love is. It takes serious inner work to clear oneself enough to love oneself properly. Wounded people in relationships tend to not heal each other but, deepen the wounding. I am very happy being alone with friends that do not make emotionally based demands on me, and I observe the same respect for boundaries.
