The September 11 2001 Camilian Demetrescu was in Bucharest. Just learned of the tragedy, immediately falls in Italy with his son Emanuel and the project starts to work dedicated to the event. In a few months, unable to finish the job and in 2001 he exhibited at the Rimini Meeting the tapestry, entitled Cosmic Hug - The Love that moves the sun and other stars (Dante, the last verse of the Divine Comedy) on the theme of 'love in the sense of the pre-Socratic Philia - the primordial energy that holds it all together, in the micro and macrocosm, atoms, galaxies, live cells. The hatred unleashed by the infamous attack reported in the foreground the specter of nuclear fission - the disintegration of the atom, and with it the cancellation of Philia.
