Malaysia reports pertaining to missing MH370 are the only ones I would trust at this time. The Captain, was about to hand over to Vietnam air space when he lost command. I wouldn't believe a damn thing coming out of Oz, US, UK and Canada.

MH192: Bangalore bound flight made an air turn-back

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Airlines flight MH192 bound for Bangalore tonight had to perform an air turn-back shortly after taking off.
MAS, in its official Twitter account, stated: “Flight MH192 that departed from KUL at 10.09pm bound for Bangalore has made an air turn-back towards KUL. More details to follow.”
Although MAS did not state the reason for the turn back, Twitter accounts were alive with claims that a tyre on the nosewheel of the Boeing 737-800 had burst.
This, however, could not be corroborated as attempts to contact officials proved fruitless.
It is understood MAS and Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd were making preparations for an emergency landing at press time, while the aircraft was in a holding pattern over the Straits of Malacca.
A Department of Civil Aviation spokesman said the aircraft would be allowed to land only when it is nearly out of fuel.
He said foam will be spread on the runway to ensure no burning occurs when the plane touches the ground.
He said the plane will land on its belly, without the use of its landing gear.
“There is always a risk when something like this happens but as of now we will have to wait and see. Further information will only be known once it lands in KLIA,” he said.
At 1.40am, Malaysia Airlines in a statement confirms that flight MH192 that departed from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) at 10.09pm bound for Bangalore has made an air turn back towards Kuala Lumpur.
The aircraft’s right-hand landing gear malfunctioned upon takeoff and is expected to make an emergency landing at KLIA at around 2.00am, today.
Flight MH192, operated on the B737-800 aircraft, was scheduled to arrive in Bangalore at 11.35pm the same day.
The flight was carrying a total number of 166 people on board which include 159 passengers and 07 crew members.
Malaysia Airlines is currently working with the Airport Fire Rescue Services (AFRS) in anticipation of the landing.
The airline will provide regular updates on the situation.

The Australian government has spent millions of dollars on this salvage operation, with nothing but 'ping-pongs', false leads, the PM Tony Abbott saying he has 'crucial information', nearly there to finding it, etc....all BS. They think we are all stoopid!
The USA to date, have not released any satellite data, which would be from Pine Gap, in central Australia, which is owned and operated by the CIA/USA. Why would that be I wonder?
And of course, as of writing we are up to the 46th day of the plane missing. Apparently after 45 days, families of the missing can launch lawsuits against MAS/Boeing etc. So it seems 'coincidental' that now it's been 'leaked' to MSM, that the plane has not crashed but landed somewhere. FFS! This has all been a wild goose chase intent on confusion. I so sympathise with the families who have lost loved ones. No mainstream media are interviewing them, why not? Mmmm.....more questions than answers.

How much of this story has been made up as they went along, I don't know. It's conceivable that the emphasis on naval assets has been invented later on as a military intel opportunity. It's valuable intel when an 'enemy' is being stretched to use it's assets fully.
I remember the time an ICBM popped up out of the water just off the California coast and headed off over the north Pacific just as Obama ( with a huge naval and air force entourage ) was over in the China area on a big PR visit. At the time there was a lot of speculation about what that was all about. My own theory is that it was either Russia of China using an old out of use-by-date missile to force the US military to use it's best assets to communicate with a President and other top brass half way around the world. It would have been interesting ( from their point of view ) to detect just how the US actually does do such communicating. Their spy tech' under the ocean and in space would monitor everything and their moles in the system would report back anything interesting too.
As for the missing plane, and it being down in the south Indian ocean, I wouldn't believe anything they tell us since the world's navies have turned up on the scene. They can stage manage anything they like. There won't be much citizen journalism from an area as remote as that.
