The US and six other major industrialized countries have denounced what they referred to as Russia’s military buildup in Ukraine’s Crimea.

The denunciation came in a statement on Sunday by the seven countries of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Britain and the United States, which are together the partners of Russia in the Group of Eight (G8) industrialized countries.
Hmm, not many of the worlds' countries here in protest. Just the usual gaggle of goose droppings.
Here, we have a rogues gallery.

What does the 'G' in G-7 mean? Got no money? These guys need to take a vacation at Brokeass Mountain.

I sent my brother the "Two Cows" joke from the jokes thread the other day.

Today I sent him a couple of links to listen to of opinions about the situation in Ukraine.

I've just come home to find a rare reply from him.

    It goes like this:

It seems to me that Ukraine has 2 COWS. The one on the left is being milked by the west, the one on the right is being milked by the east, leaving Ukrainians eating dry cornflakes

As for the stock market going crazy... It never goes crazy, it just narrows its utility exclusively to those who control it.

I tried to retire early and extend my futures (commodity) trading from a fun part time hobby into supporting my family.

Fear and Greed drive all markets and when you add leverage ... the big money absolutely eats small fries alive.

(hence ... why I went back to work ... )

Meanwhile ... seems the nitwits that be have come to the conclusion that destroying the planet and all it's inhabitants isn't such a good thing afterall???

Instead of sheer terror and horror at the prospect of mutually assured destruction via nuclear war ...

... perhaps it is just me ...

... but this is becoming more laughable by the minute ...

[kudos to brother gio for reminding me of this one ...]

IN RUSSIA: LARGEST OIL REFINERY IN EUROPE IS ON FIRE

March 4, 2014 - “Neftekamskneftehim” is the largest oil refinery in Europe. It is located in Tatarstan, Russia and today, at 7.00pm Moscow Time, dozens of firemen were urgently summoned as the oil giant started burning.

Things are escalating very quickly and I doubt if this is an accident.

No idea except from what you posted ... but certainly those that have enjoyed ... ummm ... complete power for how many hundred of years (despite the 4d masters controlling they themselves) won't fade silently into the night ...

Some suggest there will soon be such that will, in fact, force that to happen ... but it ain't here yet.

BBC Radio has just reported that Russia successfully tested an ICBM today. It hit it's target in Kazakhstan exactly as expected.

    The dirty tricks being countered?

How many missile tests occur worldwide on a regular basis???

Yes the timing detracts from backing things down ... but all things considering "they" have done a good job.

I am 9 minutes into this video. It is Pooters alone in a room with newspeople. There is a lot of information with the demeanor of the setting and proceedings, IMO. It is a rare opportunity to see a statesman at work. If the first 10 minutes are any indication of the rest, then this is Putin the diplomat and not the bare chested bear rider in a photoshopped picture. I cannot expect to see this interview in full at any MSM source. Unless they can find snippets to juxtapose against straw man arguments.

Even though I'm following this closely as well, a little nagging thought keeps wiggling it's way in every now and then: "How about what the other hand is doing, while the world's attention is being purposely focused like a laser beam on this latest hot spot?" I wonder what might be going on in a place suddenly off the radar like Iran or Syria right this very minute...

Question: Does anyone else think this is yet another example of the West "throwing a rock at a resting hornet's nest", much like the so called "Arab Spring" and countless other elsewheres?

I'm getting a distinct feeling that Putin is being pushed to get him to make a mistake.

European leaders are very worried about what's going on because Russia can cripple Europe with the stroke of a pen or a phone call. The Obama regime is pushing all this. Who's pushing them?

Fred, this was already discussed in Modwiz's post #26 and my #33

When you have a nation state (or "the west") implementing the will of the corporations (read elite) and "they" have been meticulously scripting and plotting for decades ... then who knows what may be planned via plan b ... c ... etc???

The good news is that there seems to be something energetically in the "air" ... so let us keep hope.

... seems their "plan a" has gone into the crapper???

Ole ex KGB Putin doesn't strike me as a man prone to mistakes, thus not the wisest choice of people to feck with. Then again, nothing about this has anything to do with wisdom.

That's where this blatant propaganda is going well beyond the absurd now, like the U.S. is going to punish Russia with sanctions? Yeah right, good luck with that one.

My own take is there is nothing going on except for the bankster plan to cause complete worldwide chaos and panic.

Throw in a world war ... economic collapse ... pandemic (induced of course) ... holographic blue beam space invasion and presto ... the clueless and crumbling masses will accept anything to stop the madness.

    That's always been the plan.

    Anyone miss the memo???
