Wonderful Russ! Thank you so much. Is this why the native Americans have such respect for wolves? Did they know of this? There is so much ignorance in the 'modern' world. I live in an area where hunters do not know what they are doing and the local politicians bow to their needs. Fortunately, in the centre of Italy, e.g. Tuscany magnificent woods and forests are left in their natural state and they are incredibly beautiful. In Abruzzo they've been reintroducing wolves and bears and I know now that it isn't just a romantic love of animals which has generated these projects but also a knowledge of how mother nature works.
