There's an eerie stillness and emptiness without them that is gone forever after.
As odd as this will sound, when I was younger, under the influence of of a psychoactive drug I experienced a sort of merging with trees and plant life. It was one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. It has never left me and really did transform me. You are so right, Elen, there is a stillness and emptiness when a tree is taken down. Do you remember the young woman that lived in an old growth tree in order prevent it being taken down. She was always a hero to me.

The truth is really simple, we do not get to live here without them. And those that refuse to see their beauty and majesty still need to do the math, destroy enough of them and die.

I cannot remember the woman living in the tree, but if she did it for that reason, she's my kind of hero too!

Well. This is a little like the two hour roundtable where people do not really have much to say after a few minute. This lady basically said everything she had twice. In the round table, people meandered all over the place once their initial feeling were shared. The woman above spoke of the carbon in the trees turning into rock. Silica based trees can morph, carbon based ones will usually rot. The title seemed to attract many of the flat Earthers and their limited cognitive powers and low information base. I am glad they enjoyed the presentation. I do wonder if they would have taken notice if the words flat Earth were not in the title.

I have encouraged a member who asked to begin their own thread. Should be interesting if we get new members joining.

One of the more intelligent conversations on the new video that is catching the internet by storm. It is too bad that the intelligent blonde is such a potty mouth. We all use profanity, and often with good use, in our language but, being a potty mouth, like CW Chanter, takes away from the higher intelligence being displayed. The discussion of the video seems to take place in the latter hour of this two hour video. I had to click around to get to it. Some of these two hour conversations can get tedious for me. I have enjoyed the "round table" discussions by Chistine and Karelia, of Earth Empaths, with their crew far more.

This is one of the gaping holes in Earth has no forests theory. There is no morphing.

The process is called mineral replacement. Silicates can be dissolved in water similar to dissolving salt in water. If you put salt in a glass a water the salt disappears and you can't see it anymore but it is still there. Silicates can be dissolved in water in the same manner. If a log is buried in mud with dissolved silicates those silicates will transfer into the log when the water soaks into the log. As the log rots away the silicates will remain behind.

I haven't listened to the commentary videos, but my biggest question with the theory video was completely disregarding subduction. I couldn't understand how he could completely bypass a conversation about that and assume all mountains are just quarry waste or trees. Any of the commentary touch on that?

The original guy in the Russia video is a Flat Earther so I doubt he believes in any type of conventional geology. He goes overboard in saying all mountains are trees. The theory should only apply to a few specific mountains.

In the Expanding Earth theory, which I find more plausible than subduction, there is no subduction, lol. After a year studying geology the concept and explanations of suduction are assumptions I have carried for decades. The size and attending physics of dinosaurs made me open to considering the expanding Earth theory. I allow my self to hold both theories side by side and see which one shows more evidence over time and revelations. I do not need to make up my mind now, neither one affects how I love or the kind of world I would like to live in. Far more important considerations than science of any stripe, IMO. Energetic and real life parasites and adversaries would love us to be more interested in Earth shape and geology than focus on them and how we effect the change for a system that dis-empowers them and empowers us. They know how much we like to debate, or even argue, over details that have no applications to our experiencing this beautiful planet the way were meant to do. I can make music under any number of geologic considerations.
